Ambiente Sedona, A Landscape Hotel

We stayed at Ambiente for four nights in January to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This is a wonderful place. The concierge Kelly was very responsive in advance of our trip to make numerous arrangements and answer questions. The friendliness and customer service of all staff is understated, sophisticated and first class. The property is secluded but near to the heart of Sedona. The individual atriums provide privacy and a sense of exclusivity unlike most other resorts. We each had two spa treatments which were excellent. We also did two activities arranged by the concierge: Jeep Tour and picnic in the National Forest and private star gazing on the rooftop of our Atrium. The food at Forty1 Restaurant was consistently delicious. Well, we loved it and had a memorable anniversary trip. So, thank you Ambiente

Excellent two years old centrally located property, with amazing views of the red rocks. All the rooms with beautiful glass walls that enhances the views, very spacious, great flow of the room from bedroom, closets, bathroom, and living area. Very comfortable all the way. Each unit with a rooftop with a fire pit, really amazing to spend time with your friends and/or significant other, again, marvelous views. But most importantly the quality of service, really the best among the top resorts in Sedona, AZ

Incredible property and even better service. Every staff member was so attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. This hotel is so modern and impressive, and the food is great too! We will be recommending or coming back anytime we are in Sedona.

What a beautiful experience for us on a new year trip. From the time we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the team. The place is small, only 4 rooms and it felt like we were on our own quiet get away as it did not have a crowded feel, although the resort was full. The onsite restaurant was terrific and we loved the room and the views! Really a special experience having our own "cube" in the desert with floor to ceiling windows and all the amenities for a 5 star experience. Special kudos to the concierge and front desk teams who took care of every request and desire! We will be back again!

I am actually hesitant to right this, as I saw how managment replied to a one start review on Google Although Ambiente's property is visually appealing, our experience fell short of expectations, particularly considering the price point. We encountered inconsistent housekeeping, with erratic restocking of coffee, condiments, and cleaning services. There were cigarette butts and a flossing pick outside our room as well as a blue rubber glove. Despite requesting the removal of all alcohol from our room upon booking, this was not honored. Furthermore, we were disappointed that our 25th wedding anniversary was not acknowledged in any special way. The automatic 20% gratuity was off-putting, and as a business owner of two service-based companies, I believe it's not the guest's responsibility to cover staff wages. This policy led us to withhold additional cash tips. Another surprise was the daily $200 charge on my credit card for incidentals, which was not disclosed when I booked in June. The valet service was also inconsistent, with some staff members providing excellent service (notably Danny and Hunter) while others seemed disinterested. Given our experience, we plan to return to Sedona next year but will opt for Airbnb accommodations instead.
