The Westin Josun Seoul

Great service was provided. In particular, Angela and Jenny, the staff, were very kind and treated me with heartwarming hospitality. If I visit Seoul again, I would like to stay at this hotel. Thank you for the memories of the wonderful trip.

I spent an age choosing which area and which hotel to stay in during our time in Seoul and I am so pleased that I chose the Westin Chosun for both the start and end of our family holiday in Korea. The location is perfect with lots of interesting things to see and do within walking distance, great access to the train station, metro, airport bus etc., and plenty of places to eat in the vicinity including a department store with a large, high quality food court. The rooms we stayed in were a good size for three of us. The executive lounge was superb with a great selection of food and drink available on offer and amazing views over the city. One slight criticism was that they wouldn't allow my daughter to order a room service meal in the lounge for some strange reason, but overall the staff there were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was a very slight problem with our reservation on check-in, but the staff quickly did everything they could not only to put things right for us but to make up us for the minor inconvenience. Overall I rate this as one of the very best hotels I have stayed in.

The property has Guiness Book of Records for the oldest hotel in Korea. (established on 10 October 1914) When I wrote the last review in 2 years ago, my experiences in this property was with 4 stars.. But I see many differences this year such as: - Unique Welcome Amenity with heritage of Josun, the oldest hotel in Korea - Turndown service with home-made Ginger Tea - Diversified dining menu (5 Korean dishes are added for Breakfast) - 24 hours Service Chatting through mobile phone (even without marriott membership) - Better facial expressions of the hotel guests - The quality standard of the staffs with their top notch service Now, my new experiences in this property is 5 stars for all respects, both for software and renovated hardware! The property seems to be focused more on Attention to Detail and I can notice the highest rates of customer satisfaction since its opening! Heavenly bedding as well as amenities of Jo Malon are famous for comfortable stay. Software: Being upgraded with Retro Futurism, with tradition, heritage and innovation, I really enjoy my stay here with thanks to the staffs who are attentive, quick and professional for taking care of loyalty guests.

I thought JW Seoul is great, this Westin is even better. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff were very prompt to help with luggages and I was shown to the checkin desk. The staff at the checkin desk were excellent. All so efficient and well versed in English. The room was ok, a little dated but clean. Lounge service was excellent. Staff at the lounge were polite and professional. They cleared the plates and cups quickly and always with a smile. This is the opposite to JW. This property also has a few small shops like wine shop, bakery and florist. All selling very nice stuff. Close to many amenities and popular spots. Will be back again!

Such a welcomed reception upon arrival with lovely staff and smiles. Surprisingly close to the underground & street markets, too. Room well equipped with essentials & information. Loved how cosy & comfortable it felt. Fine dinning on point & food very impressive. The Westin Josun Seoul overall rating A+
