About the Hotel

Located in Seville’s historic center, Hotel Inglaterra is connected to popular downtown streets off the Plaza Nueva. Part of the Lifestyle collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, it maintains a harmonious mix of its nearly 160-year-old history with gorgeously restored antiques, English-style furniture, and original engravings from Europe and Asia. This elegant estate is centrally located near landmarks such as the Cathedral with Giralda Tower, the General Archive of the Indies, and the Alcázar Palace. That means views from the seasonal rooftop terrace are sublime – no better place to enjoy Manuel Cuenca’s Manilva, a dry cocktail that scored the industry’s top honor.

Loved it

Brilliant location, excellent staff, lovely hotel. Will definitely be back. I arrived early and they managed to get me a room. The staff made us (I was with a big group) feel really welcome throughout and the roof bar was great for the sunset.

Central, great staff and lovely views.

Stayed here for a few nights at the end of January/beginning of February 2025. We stay in Seville often and knew this hotel was central and of a good standard. We were not disappointed. Our stay was excellent, the roof terrace gave you great views of the city of an evening and allowed you to soak up the winter sunshine during the day. Staff were excellent also. One piece of advise. We had a delux room with a Terrace and whilst this was a great room with super views, be warned that these rooms are directly underneath the roof top terrace bar that is open into the early hours of the morning. If you are looking for quiet rooms then these are not for you. Otherwise a great stay and we will return soon, maybe to a different room.

Great place with fantastic service.

Nice hotel, fantastic location - and amazing service! Kudos to the team and management. We arrived early, and the team made an effort to accommodate us earlier, which was great already. When we reported a minor technical issue, technical team was there in 5 minutes; and, when they realized they can not fix it, we were immediatelly offered a new room - with an upgrade. And this is not mentioning free drinks offered as compensation of inconvenience, and a card with apologies. One can say this is what you would expect in the industry - however, this is not given, and we really appreciated the attitude. Booked a second night in the hotel, though did not plan to initially. And - make sure you visit rooftop bar - views are incredible!

Negative Experience

Irresponsible Staff at rooftop bar . Avoid this hotel at any cost and negative experience . there are better choices at Seville than this junk hotel. So dont waste your money at this hotel and have better customer experience somewhere else.

Not worth the pointless wait

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

After queueing at the front door to the hotel for 25 minutes hoping to catch a drink at sunset along with other groups, the staff allowed us to go to the rooftop bar just after the sun had set. The excuse was that the bar was full. Once we arrived at the rooftop it was clear there were roughly half of all tables free. The cocktails were double the price of anywhere else in Sevilla. We left quickly and noted the queue remained on leaving.
