Great Hotel in Sevilla

Good hotel overall. Not sure if it was worth the money because the breakfast and the amenities in the room were not all that great.

Fabulous hotel that we will visit again

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Whilst heritage hotels are always pretty to look at, you can’t beat a three year old, tasteful, purpose built luxury hotel like this one for the highest standard of facilities. Little things like almost silent air conditioning, near sound proof windows, perfectly designed rooms and bedrooms and multiple USB points, (along with little well though out touches like one lift defaulting to the top floor and the other to the ground, so that you never have to wait long, if at all) just make everything feel calm and effortless. We had a Collection Premium room on the second floor that was light, spacious and overlooking the lovely square. Really helpful and friendly staff, well cleaned rooms and with a great breakfast selection. It may apply to all hotels in Seville, but the fresh orange juice was just out of this world. Location was also perfect, with an easy walk to the cathedral area and a short one to the Setas de Sevillla. We fell in love with Seville and will most definitely return, and will absolutely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended and made a perfect holiday even better.

Wonderful hotel in a wonderful city

A lovely hotel slap bang in the centre of the city. We were made to feel very welcome and the team were great. The room was lovely and the common parts are extremely well maintained. We were delighted with every part of our stay.

Very Nice Hotel but Beware of Extra Person Charge

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We (me, my husband, and mother) stayed here in Sept. 2024 and booked the presidential suite. Here's everything you need to know about this hotel before you book... Neighborhood - Very conveniently located in Plaza de Magdalena with lots of great restaurants nearby including a shopping mall with a grocery store on the lower level. It's also very close to the shopping strip and where most tour companies pick up and drop off. Hotel - the hotel consists of two buildings. The first building contains the suites, the restaurant, bar, concierge, and lobby. The second building, which is accessible by going out the door and crossing the alley into the next building, contains the swimming pool. Suite - As I said, we booked the presidential suite which was well appointed and nicely laid out. The suite has a large balcony with loungers, sofas, tables, trees, and a jacuzzi. It's very private (no one can see onto the balcony) and well-maintained. Each bedroom had a large ensuite bathroom with a tub and seperate oversized shower, heated towel rack, and private toilet area. The primary bedroom had its own coffee maker, mini-bar and mini-fridge, a second small patio with a table and two chairs, and a king-sized bed. The secondary bedroom had two twin beds that could be made up to be a queen-sized bed. The living area had a television (there were also televisions in the bedroom which we used as the TV in the living room did not work-- it seemed the batteries in the remote were dead), a chair, small table, sofa, desk, mini-fridge, snacks for sale, and coffee maker. Note that you cannot use the refrigerators to refrigerate food (snacks or leftovers) or your own drinks as they are stocked full and if you remove anything from them you will be charged for the removed items. Swimming Pool - The pool, which is very small, is located on the rooftop and is not impressive or particularly inviting, but the lounge area around the pool is nice with shaded lounge chairs and towels. Service - Excellent. All of the staff spoke English very well and was incredibly attentive, friendly, and competent. Upon checking in, they brought us a complimentary welcome fruit tray and bottle of wine. Hidden charge - I was surprised to receive an additional charge of $330 USD when I checked out which was the charge for having more than two people in my room. This seemed odd since it was a two-bedroom suite and had I booked two seperate one-bedroom rooms, they would have accommdated four guests total without an additional charge. Yet, for a two-bedroom suite, any guests above two (even though one room had two single beds and the other had a king bed, so three beds total) incur a $110/day charge. I must say, after spending a significant amount of money to book the suite, that clearly accommodates up to four people without needing any extra bedding/roll-away/etc., that there was an additional guest charge. We had a similar billing issue with the restaurant inside the hotel (Eneko Basque). For details of that issue, see my seperate review. I also noticed a review on tripadvisor complaining about hidden charges at another Radisson property, so this may be characteristic of this company. I'm not sure. I can say that I've never been charged for three people in a two-bedroom suite at any other hotel I've stayed at. I communicated with the manager about why a two-bedroom suite designed to sleep four people would incur an extra charge with only three people in the room and the only answer I received is that it's their policy and they'll try to do a better job of being transparent about it. Not a satisfactory answer, but given the whole idea that a suite with three beds would incur a charge for three people, is illogical, so I don't suppose he was ever going to come up with a satisfactory answer to that.

PATHETIC SERVICE, STOLEN LAPTOP BAG. LACK OF SAFETY !

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

PATHETIC SERVICE, STOLEN LAPTOP BAG. LACK OF SAFETY ! From the very minute I walked in to the hotel, disappointment after disappointment! While I was giving my passports for my check in process, in less than 45 seconds my laptop bag was stolen FROM INSIDE THE HOTLE LOBBY- less than 10 feet from the receptionist. TOMAS, the front desk manager showed zero empathy when we asked him to help us and that our bag was missing in less than a minute. All he said was i don’t know I didn’t see anything and while my father and sister are panicking searching for the bag, he comes between that panic and says how would you like to pay and came with the card machine. We asked him frantically to help us see the CCTV camera he replied “ my colleague will look into it and we cannot show you the video and I don’t know how much time it will take and it’s your choice you can wait here or leave” he left for his lunch break I believe. First he told us the police will come to the hotel then later he says we have to go to the police station. No apology- no sense of remorse- not an inch of helping hand. The other front desk manager also looked away and did not offer any relief. We finally spoke to Christine the manager who was kind and still was sorry about the whole thing she showed us how the laptop bag was stolen. We finally went and complained to the police, have no hopes but needed to do so for insurance. What is the point of staying in a radisson collection hotel if this happens to you right in their hotel lobby , how do you Even feel safe. A complete waste of money , time and emotions to come and stay in this property. We wasted our entire first day only trying to sort this mess. I hope they fire him or put him and the other Staff in an induction program as to how a hospitality industry works. Worst radisson stay ever. Mind you we own radisson hotels in Asia. We’ve stayed in multiple radisson properties and have never been treated so poorly. Special mention to Christine who was extremely empathetic and helpful to this entire situation. But this has left a sour taste for me and I will always dissuade people from staying here.
