Driving back to Zagreb from Dubrovnik and wanted to visit national park so this was an obvious place to stay. Did not get to explore the old town as the drive took longer than expected. Got to the hotel at sunset. was pretty but blocked by nearby land (island?). The hotel was fantastic in every manner. Beautiful design. Hotel actually designed to resemble a ship. Plenty of free parking inside and outside. Greeted warmly and with nice cold drink (free). Room very comfortable, quiet, and large. Decided not to eat on site (our choice, as the menu looked quite nice). Lovely breakfast buffet. Easy to get to hotel and easy to leave. Quite reasonable price as well. Only negative (for us) was pool/hot tub required going outside and walking short distance. Opted for nice warm bath in spacious tub instead. Has a bar inside and outside and lovely pool. Definitely recommend. Old town is a short car ride away. Also has a marina on site (not sure if you can rent or not).

Very nice hotel located a few miles out of town with a great location on the sea and looking out to the Old Town of Šibenik.. Everything about the hotel feels like understated luxury and they pay attention to every detail. Staff were all very helpful and d genuinely friendly. Parking is free and we had a deluxe room with marina room and loved sitting on our balcony overlooking the water and drinking a glass of wine - it had a nice relaxing ambience to it and beautiful views. Breakfast was high quality had a ton of choices with a location overlooking the sea - and you could sit outside also if you wanted to. This hotel was a pleasant surprise and I would highly recommend

Fabulous hotel I travelled with my son & it's our last day tomorrow & we don't want to leave. Everything about this hotel is amazing. The staff pools spar breakfast all faultless. It's so relaxing after just one day we felt like we had been away for weeks it's so chilled. Special mention to Maria in the spar who was delightful & so helpful & friendly. I am coeliac & the staff were excellent & cooked fresh omelets in a separate pan. Food was clearly marked with allergies in general which was most reassuring. Also freshly cooked delicious gluten free banana bread every morning. Marina view room is fabulous beautiful views if the yachts We will definitely return. Excellent hotel.

This is indeed a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place. The staff are lovely. The rooms are large and clean and very modern. The breakfast is well presented and a very good selection. The bread is amazing. But, if this is your first time on holiday with a new partner there’s not much privacy in the bathroom area part of it is open to the bedroom. There’s no dressing table and the hooks in the bathroom are a bit high up for me as I am not very tall! We were on the Šibenik side of the hotel and it didn’t,t get any sun so meant you had to leave your room if you wanted to sit in the sun. You can get a bus into Šibenik there’s one an hour and we found it reliable. It’s nearly a miles walk to the bus stop. Taxis ranged from €8 to €10 the bus is €1.50 each way. You can walk to town but it is a long way. We asked several times about water taxi and it was never available. The toilets to the outside swimming pool were locked. The menu in the restaurant didn’t change and the food was a bit hit and miss. There is a very nice restaurant at the end of the harbour that is reasonable and a lovely walk past all the beautiful yachts. Our main complaint is that you can’t just walk out the hotel and find a restaurant and we felt that the hotel was soulless. Overall we don’t regret our visit as we had a lovely time but feel it’s aimed more at people who come for a rest and solitude than for someone wishing to explore and have fun.

Just back from an amazing week at D-Resort in Sibenik. The hotel does exactly what it says on the tin and we couldn't fault it - not that we go looking for faults. Design is amazing with great views from the restaurant, roof and pool - either overlooking the town or marina. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with all facilities that we would expect from a hotel of this standard. We had chosen a marina view room. These are on the left side of the hotel so get evening sun and a view of the multi million pound yachts moored up in the marina. We also chose half board as this was our first visit. Food choice, presentation, and service was excellent and I can't speak highly enough of the restaurant staff. The local wines are excellent and worth a glass or bottle or two - recommend the wine bar at the jetty end of Sibenik waterfront. All the staff in the hotel were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is a little outside of Sibenik: about a 30/40 minute walk on the shorter route and 50 on the longer one. As said in other reviews there is a small section without a footpath but that didn't worry us as we used it daytime. We used the hotel shuttle boat (additional cost) which was great as were the local taxis. There is a large supermarket on the route into Sibenik but also a smaller one at the top of the marina as well as a small cafe. Sibenik old town and walk up to the fortress is well worth a visit. Lots of places to eat. Krka National Park and islands by boat also great - we booked with Maja who is a local agent and has a Stand 2 on the Sibenik waterfront.... All in all an amazing time and I would thoroughly recommend D-Resort.
