We stayed at Andaz Singapore many times in the past years. Their standard rooms are great. This time we had a suite and it is the best suite room I have stayed so far in Singapore. It is well designed, well kept, with excellent views. At your service staff were efficient. Buffet breakfast is always good.

We chose this hotel because it’s close to Atlaz bar which we planned to go. The room is ok, with some complimentary drink and chocolate. View is good with some ocean view. Breakfast choice is fine, but place is separated. Lounge offers complimentary coffee and tea is good. Best of all, I left my passport in the safe when I checked out and the hotel called me not too long before I checked in airport and I managed to retrieve my passport and flied away

We thought we would book the Andaz for something different than our usual Singapore hotel choices as a bit of a treat - how wrong we were. We would NOT recommend staying here! The family room we booked was for 4 people and had one bed! I don’t mind sleeping with my kids but 4 in a bed after a 16 hour flight is not nice. They then put two fold out beds in the room which meant we couldn’t walk around. The room also smelt of damp and had mould in the showers. They then said we could move to a different room for an additional cost. They put us in the larger room free of additional charge for the first night which smelt of cigarettes and was not clean with food still on the floor from previous guest. They did send us an air ioniser to try and get rid of the cigarette smell - which didn’t work. We then had a fire alarm at 4 am - not the hotel’s fault but was quite unpleasant. The hotel lobby reminds me of a Starbucks and smells like cake from the cake shop. Long story short we moved from the hotel the next day and had a lovely experience. The food and beverage manager was really nice and apologetic. The GM Stephan sent us a conciliatory email - but didn’t really care. This is not a professional or nice hotel to stay in - reading some of the other reviews the people have nailed why it’s so poor. Don’t waste your money.

Having stayed many times at the Andaz 5th Avenue NYC, we like the relaxed concept so trying the Singapore outpost seemed natural on our recent trip. Located above the Bugis MRT subway station & shopping complex in the Duo Towers, on the airport side of the city, the property is perfectly located for business or pleasure. There’s a private lift to/from the subway station very close to the ticket gates, use it on day 1 to orient yourself. The popular Haji area is a few minutes walk away, as is Raffles Hotel, whilst Little India and the Marina Bay are within 25 minutes walk or less on the subway. Check-in by assistant manager Irene was smooth, and although the room wasn’t immediately ready when we arrived Saturday midday (check-in is 3pm) there’s a complimentary lounge and our room was available by 1pm. We stayed 4 nights in a Andaz Suite King, a corner room (3421), with both ocean and city views, two WC, walk-in shower, large bath and separate lounge and walk-in wardrobe. Free mini-bar and complimentary evening drink 5.30-6.30 in the lobby lounge were welcome, and the room has a Nespresso machine and tea making facilities. Expected amenities such as free WiFi (tip: buy an eSim for on-the-go connectivity without the usual ripoff pricing of your home provider- we used HolaFly👍), a Safe, USB charging sockets, umbrellas, ironing board, toiletries etc were all present. The bed was firm but comfortable. The windows have both blackout blinds and sheer drapes, both electronic. We struggle with above-bed AC, so great feature of the room was the independent AC in the bedroom and lounge, which allowed us to turn off the bedroom AC and cool the room indirectly with the lounge one.10/10! (not applicable to the basic rooms). Housekeeping were efficient and unobtrusive. The 20m infinity pool (on the lobby level) was a welcome feature, if somewhat busy at the weekend. The deck also features a large herb garden, a great idea. There is an evening-only rooftop bar with 360 degree views (Mr Stork) offering drinks & snacks on the 39th floor, and a high-end steakhouse (655degrees) on the 38th floor, next to the gym (small but functional, missing a proper bike). 5 on 25 is a high-end Chinese restaurant, but we didn’t get a chance to try it. Breakfast is multi-national buffet on the lobby floor and it did not disappoint, being efficiently run and on par with most 4/5 star city hotels. We had a very late flight out of Changi, were advised that up to 3pm could be accommodated free of charge (usual checkout midday) given occupancy, but later would incur a half-day charge, and require moving to a basic room. Once again our travels were arranged by Caroline & John at Stylish Resorts (stylishresorts.com), highly recommend them. Would we recommend the Andaz Singapore? Yes, absolutely. Would we like to stay there again? Oh yes!

I was in town for a quick trip. The staff at the hotel was amazing. The room was comfortable. We were upgraded to a corner room with beautiful views. Bathrooms are a big thing for me and it didn’t disappoint. The pool had a great view as well. I would recommend 10 out of 10.
