Amazing Andaz Singapore Always!

Great location, great service, great food too! Bugis is a great location to see a different side of Singapore than Orchard road. Hotel has great location in Bugis. Options for transport include MRT, taxi, bus! Very convenient. Great food in the hotel. Every stay we visit their Chinese restaurant or 665! Also some great specials like pizza and beer night! Great bar Mr Stork to! Amazing views of the Singapore skyline and great cocktails! Team members like Ken, Theresa, Sean, Jonas, Vimilan, Fannie, Stephan, Moritz, Billy! Just a few of the amazing team that make Andaz awesome! Don’t miss out!

Disappointing Service - would not come again!

We arrived at the Andaz for 4 nights having booked a more higher priced corner room 4 weeks before arrival. We made a friendly request for a high floor upon booking if available. We arrived at 4pm at the Andaz, but nothing was prepared at check-in. There was no room assigned, no paperwork prepared, no request received. We stood at check-in for 20 minutes (!!!) while the receptionist & a colleague searched for „a“ room (????). Frustrated and to give them time to sort things we went for lunch in-house. Nobody stopped by during lunch to give us room keys or info so we went back to the check-in 1 hour later. The receptionist and her colleague were gone by then and nobody else knew our room status (???) - Excuse me!!!! Apology? Nada! After some more research they „found“ our room (low floor), but unfortunately our luggage was missing/ not in the room. So we called the front desk again to search for our luggage. After another 15 minutes it was delivered (so more than 1,5 hours after our arrival!!!). The entire check-in process was a total disaster, took extremely long and was handled highly inefficient and unsatisfactory. This is not at all at all 5-Star level - even budget chains do it way better. After explaining our frustration to the front desk manager later, we were told „sorry“ and that was it. No „let us make it up to you“ or „let me check for an upgrade“ or anything. In the evening we were then given complimentary breakfast vouchers as an apology - nice, just way too late. What a terrible lengthy cumbersome stressful start of 4 days in Singapore. What a hassle for us as customers at a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was a fairly chaotic, hectic and noisy experience. Tables are very close to the service station, people keep bumping into guest tables around it. The coffee order took 15min so we had finished our first round of breakfast without coffee. We were told there are just too many coffee orders (???). Self-service coffee station? Of course not! The only three „guest“ elevators are used by everyone (incl. cleaning carts, maintenance, room service, refill carts) so morning rides tend to be very sloooooow with too many carts/guests/personell riding between floors. On Sat morning we went to the pool (11am). Unfortunately the maintenance crew was pressure cleaning the wooden pool deck (extremely noisy). Why at 11am during peak pool hours - who knows, but we just left like most of the other pool guests! Just bad! We would not recommend the Andaz if you want to have a welcoming, stress-free, guest-friendly, and efficient stay! Just too many basic service issues (despite a nice design and modern rooms) - this needs to be tackled by Andaz management urgently not to loose even more reputation.

The most disappointed Andaz Singapore

I stayed at Andaz Singapore last weekend and it was horrible from the check in experience to the check out. The front office area was very messy and look like 3 stars hotel. The staff was not aware of my request which already charged to my room account. Besides, the front office staff under charged me and she didn’t realise it. I was the one who told her when I checked out that the number looked strange. Actually, my total bill was around 1,100 SGD. but in the credit card receipt, she charged me only 110 SGD. So I asked her to double check and she admitted that she under charged me. In addition, I really hate that the housekeeping team always keep their trolley with black canvas cover along the hallway on each floor. This makes the hotel looks like 3 star hotel. The staff at the rooftop bar were very confused, not professional at all. And all cocktail were so sweet! Very bad. I’ve been to quite a few Andaz in The world and this is the worst by far. The only good team in the hotel is the bell captain team. Very very helpful

Always a great stay

Good location, room with a view and to top it off, world class service by a team of great staff. No matter how busy the hotel gets, the Check-in is always fast and efficient. The cleaning staff keeps the room clean and tidy daily with evening drinks top up in the mini fridge and Singapore Awfully Chocolate!

The room was comfortable. We'll done and nicely decorated. Had dinner at the restaurant 665 the food was amazing. Location was great as the subway was in the basement. The staff goes above and beyond to assist you. Would definitely stay there again.
