The location is great with beautiful views, breakfast at the lobby floor is variety of food more then Gold Lounge but what impressed me the most were the staff at the Gold Lounge, “Jamel” and “June” Both of them truly made my stay was so good I hope to have the chance to stay here again.

My recent stay at The Fairmont Singapore left me deeply frustrated, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn future guests. I booked two deluxe Marina bay view rooms via booking agent. First, despite arriving at the standard check-in time of 3:00 PM, we were informed one of my rooms was not ready. The front desk staff offered nothing more than a casual “sorry” with an explanation to state they were just trying to accommodate our request for connecting rooms. After a long journey with young kids, being forced to wait without transparency was both inconvenient and disrespectful. The real nightmare began with the hotel’s reckless handling of the payment . At check-in, the hotel charged my credit card for the total stay cost plus a $300 deposit (100 dollars per night per room) which is totally understandable. This transaction has been released on the checkout date. However, after checkout, I was shocked to discover two additional unauthorised transactions charged to my card: one marked “successful” and another “pending,” both are identical amount and each totals the full cost of the stay. When I contacted the booking agent, the hotel claimed the pending charge was the deposit. But why was the deposit suddenly inflated to match the full stay cost? This double-dipping left my credit card maxed out, severely limiting my financial flexibility during my trip. The hotel’s careless handling of payments and lack of transparency is alarming. Charging guests multiple times without clear justification and holding excess funds under the guise of a “deposit” is unprofessional and unethical. It took days of stressful follow-up to resolve, and I still fear the pending charge may not be released promptly. I am a frequent traveler and satisfied with most of my stays with the hotels of Accor group. During the stay with this hotel, I was happy with the location of the hotel and the room service. But because of the billing chaos I will not be returning. Think twice if you want to book this hotel.

We have just spent 3 nights in this fabulous hotel. We had a Gold Room Suite, which was perfect. The service from all the staff at the hotel was excellent but the staff in the Gold Lounge, went above and beyond our expectation, the whole team that looked after us were fantastic- Alan, James, Yami, Sam and El faiz, thank you. We would highly recommend this hotel!!

Room was comfortable and spacious. Service was prompt and good as usual. Breakfast spread was good at Prego but quality of pastries/asian food can be improved. Thank you Navanee for the fast and friendly room service. Highly recommended for a stay in central area.
