Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

The service from the Mandarin Oriental staff was the best we have received from our many visits to other 5 star hotels in Singapore. Despite the size of the hotel it felt like we were valued by staff at every point. Breakfast time at large hotels can be a free for all and chaotic but staff throughout the dining area were friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay at the MO again.

My third stay in the Mandarin continues to be exceptional. I am particularly pleased with the immediate check in and quick response without hesitation for a late check out at the front desk since my flight was late in the evening. Room and facilities continue to be maintained well.

While we've visited other Mandarin Orientals around the world for a meal/drink this was a first time stay. In a city of top class hotels, the Singapore MO stood out for us when making a hotel selection for our 4 night stay - down to the superb views over Marina Bay, a recent refurbishment, close proximity to walk to a number of attractions around the marina (Gardens by The Bay, Singapore Flyer, Marine Bay Sands complex, Merlion Park) and their Haus 65 Club offering. Upon arrival we were taken to the Haus 65 Club lounge to check in, quieter and more relaxing than main reception. The bay view rooms offer stunning views, night and day, so much so that we never pulled the curtains. A luxurious bedroom and bathroom with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The thick window glass blocked noise well (there is some daytime building work on he esplanade which was never an issue) and the obligatory aircon was pretty quiet. It's a large hotel (>500 rooms) and I can imagine the restaurants, especially at breakfast, get pretty busy. The joy of Haus 65 is the serenity to use a private lounge with a surprisingly wide buffet and hot breakfast selection. A relaxing start to the day and, if you returned to the hotel in the afternoon for a heat break you could enjoy afternoon tea with a glass or two of champagne etc.. In the early evening there was a generous hot and cold food selection accompanied by cocktails and/or drinks of your choice. The offering is very generous and the ability to drop in in between sightseeing or being out for the evening fitted our itinerary well. Best of all are the staff, engaging and helpful - they truly elevate the experience. We didn't use the pool, sunbathing not our thing, and it did look a little busy given the hotel's size. The cake shop near reception offered coffee and sweet treats, table service with the usual helpful staff. In fact, you could chat to any of the many staff you saw walking around the hotel or in the lifts and have a joke with the doormen, concierge team. We had a fabulous stay and realise this was as much about the hotel experience as the fabulous city of Singapore.

I normally do not write reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience after the amazing service we received at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. We were in Singapore for a three-day holiday to celebrate a birthday. Because it was a special occasion, we got an early check-in (free of charge), which was much appreciated considering that we arrived at the hotel at 9:00 am check-in is normally at 3:00 pm. Unfortunately, on our first day, we had a family emergency that required a hospital visit and a two-night stay there—coinciding with the duration of our booking at the Mandarin Oriental. When we informed the hotel, they graciously extended our check-out time to 9:00 p.m. (!!) on our departure day. This gave us much-needed time to rest at the hotel once our family member was discharged—right around the original check-out time. Throughout this ordeal, the staff at the Mandarin Oriental were incredibly accommodating. They frequently checked in to ask about our family member’s condition and even offered us a complimentary ride to the airport. Additionally, since we didn't have a local number, we provided the hotel’s number to the hospital so they could communicate with us directly—something the hotel was more than willing to assist with. This level of service has been the best service we have experienced from a hotel (and we have traveled a lot). Naturally, the hotel itself is immaculate and wonderful, but the services put it in a category of itself. If you are ever in our shoes, you can feel fully comfortable that you will get all the help and assistance from the Mandarin Oriental if you are staying here. This has been the best hotel service we've ever experienced—and we've traveled a lot. The hotel itself is immaculate and luxurious, but it’s the service that truly sets it apart. If you ever find yourself in a difficult situation, you can be confident that the team at the Mandarin Oriental will go above and beyond to support you. In summary, a heartfelt thank you to the exceptional staff at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, for your help and care during what was otherwise a very stressful time.

What an amazing hotel! I have a very fantastic experience in this hotel,every staff is very professional.first i want to say thank u to spa team,because even hard to arrange a booking but they still try their best to give me a good experience.i want to say thank you to Princess also,she is very professional and very patience to answer my questions .i very very like the pool view ,i will come back again!
