Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

Overall an excellent hotel with only a few minor quibbles - one, on arrival, the room was not ready at 5pm, despite check-in being at 3pm. Hotels sell a room for a specific window of time - checkin to checkout - but don't compensate you when you don't get the room for the amount of time you paid for it. Second annoyance is the chaotic breakfast buffet - there needs to be an adult only section here as the room was swimming with children on all 4 days. Other MO hotels have a sit-down a la carte breakfast cafe, this MO location sadly lacks it. Another FYI for travellers here is that the area between the hotel and the marina bay is under construction so the view is not the most attractive when looking down. It is unclear how long this construction will continue, but it appears early and likely will continue for another year and may even block the views of some of the lower rooms. Aside from these issues, the staff were friendly, room very comfortable, location excellent, and the amenities were as expected. I'd still certainly recommend the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the mandarin oriental Singapore and I would always choose it again. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the Haus 65 very much, the food was excellent. The room was very well equipped. We will definitely come again.

This may just be the best hotel I have ever stayed at and I’ve travelled. The hotel does what it does to perfection! I must add that we got the sea/marina bay suit which is significantly superior to the deluxe rooms but it does come with a price tag… Rooms aside, the pool, service and the main restaurant were just wonderful and I can’t fault it. We had the buffet dinner one night and I would highly recommend it. Breakfast was also exceptional. I look forward to returning soon!

Well located with an amazing views on the Marina Bay skyline, a large and top notch restaurant's scene & Spa facilities. Service at its finest, you should definitely try Dolce Vita, everyone is very welcoming - looking forward to come back with family and friends.

The hotel has recently had 80% renovation. It is incredibly beautiful. Going up in the elevators, one can see the lovely hotel interior. There is a massive construction site opposite the hotel, it seems that they work 24 hours a day, but one cannot hear any work at night from this location. The reception was nice and swift. We were on the 19th floor, the room overlooking the bay. The views are magnificent both day and nighttime. The room was relatively small it was pristine and clean. Incredibly comfortable bed, small bathroom. Lovely bathroom amenities. It has automatic dark shades and at night lights, which turn on automatically when you step out of bed and remain on for four minutes. Very helpful in finding your way to the bathroom without switching the lights on or taking a flash-light to lead the way. Turn-down service was excellent. Breakfast was rather chaotic, as the food stations were positioned in a way the occasionally guests bumped into one another. There is an extensive food selection from around the globe. The pool was nice and large. The pool staff were utterly incompetent and looked bored. I had to ask for water twice before the pool guy brought it. We shall return to the hotel in the future.
