Reviews for One Farrer Hotel

Great location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 hours ago

We stayed here for a couple of nights and absolutely loved it. We were greeted by very friendly staff and were then given a free upgrade which helped to make the stay even better. The reception team were helpful whenever we needed them and the facilities were great. The view from our room was amazing and the location of the hotel was perfect to explore Singapore. It’s really close to a metro station so very easy to get around. I’d definitely stay here again!

Skyline Lounge is amazing.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

We stayed for 4 nights from 30 December in a Skyline Room. This room consisted of 2 Queen beds, with 2 couches, desk and was a great size. Huge bathrooms. We had a view of Marina Bay Sands which was great as we could watch the New Years Eve fireworks from bed! Location is in Little India but right next to the MRT, so we found it a super central location with nothing far away. The pool is magnificent. We also had access to the Skyline Club Lounge. This is excellent value for money. You get breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, free alcohol for lunch/dinner etc. But what makes this hotel and lounge is the staff in the Skyline Lounge. Malek was INCREDIBLE. He is such an asset to this hotel and without him, it would have been an ordinary stay. My daughter is Gluten Free and he made sure she had food that she liked at every meal. He was so attentive and he actually couldn't have done anything more than he did. He even went out of his way to get us a later check out, got us new keys etc without us even asking. Nancy and Maydee were also just lovely and we loved being in their company and getting to know them. There were some difficult guests in there that were super rude, yet they kept a smile on their face and were so professional. I would recommend this hotel and Skyline Lounge to everyone. Thank you Mr Malek again, I hope to see you again.

Amazing, anytime again

We had an amazing stay, it offered great value for money. We will definitely return to this hidden gem! It deserves the highest rating. The receptionist upgraded our Mint room to a suite on the 20th floor, which was a wonderful surprise. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every request was dealt with promptly, also the housekeeping was impeccable. The building does not look modern from the outside, the entrance to the building looks completely dodgy as it is being renovated, I was a bit scared that this was supposed to be the amazing hotel from the reviews. The hotel itself is beautiful, with two stunningly designed pools that add a luxurious feel to the experience. The location was also perfect, with easy access to the main attractions, it literally sits on top of Farrer MRT station. It is easy to walk around Little India from here. Right next to the hotel is the hospital, mini 7/11.. I really appreciated that the hotel and the buildings around have something like "roofs" over the pavements, you can walk around with a dry head even if it rains heavily.. A few steps from the hotel entrance there is a fresh orange juice dispenser. The suite was mind-blowing. When I walked in it was dark and I wondered: Where are the windows? And where are the beds? :D :D Silly me. As soon as I walked in, the blinds started to open automatically and I soon saw an incredibly beautiful and breathtaking room with a couch and a study area - the big living room... and behind doors a bedroom with a separate toilet, a wonderful shower and an unspeakable view from huge windows. The next morning we could watch the sunrise from our beds :D The suite boasted great amenities and high-tech controls for blinds, lights, and AC. You could adjust light intensity, and there were two large TVs. The windows had day and night blinds, with the day ones being more transparent. We were surprised by a knock after a few hours—it was the service lady asking if we needed anything, like more water. The air conditioning was so quiet I hardly knew it was on. How I wish I had AC like that somewhere else... The suite was immaculate, incredibly spacious, beautifully designed with plenty of room to relax and unwind, all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. My only suggestion is to add more sockets, preferably USB-C, near the bedside for convenient phone charging. Otherwise, everything was fantastic! The hotel is full of art - paintings, vases... and each peace was proudly presented with the author's name. There are several lifts, they are pretty fast. Even the lifts were decorated with beautiful vases of flowers. The next morning, we searched for the breakfast room, expecting a large one for such a big hotel. Instead, we found a small room by the pool, with limited indoor seating. Despite its size, the variety was impressive, including a rare European-style breakfast with several cheeses. It was the only place during our three-week trip in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore that served cheese. There were also various warm Indian dishes and a DIY soup station. However, there was no coffee machine, just thermoses of prepared coffee and hot water. On the third day, two staff members by the lifts surprised us by directing the guests before us to a different breakfast room, while we were sent to the same one as before. I was curious about their criteria for this. When we went down to the checkout, a helpful member of staff was waiting and asked if we wanted to check out and leave our luggage there, he would help us. It was as if he read our minds before we even had an idea. We had a small misunderstanding on our part. After receiving a free upgrade to a suite, I checked the hotel’s website and saw that suites typically include extra services like access to a special pool and a refreshment room. However, we later learned our upgrade only included the suite, not the extras. No complaints, as the suite exceeded our expectations, but it would have been helpful to know at check-in to avoid any confusion.

Mesmerising experience - Our 5 days trip to Singapore in early January 2025

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Very pretty and huge properly. The pool is so good! The staff is very friendly and cooperative. The room is bigger than usual sizes in Singapore and the bathroom is also very huge. Indian food options are available, however the food can still be improved. Sella at the front desk specifically did a splendid job :)

Undergoing renovations

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We had an enjoyable 2 night stay. Very close to MRT. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations however this did not bother us. The reception staff made an error with our payment and quickly compensated us by providing meals and taxi when we left. Breakfast was fantastic with a very attentive waiter. The pool was really nice although we did mot see anyone using it.
