We stayed in the valley wing of this hotel and it was incredible, the staff there Sammy, Raj and Benjie in particular, made us feel like family and we were genuinely sad to leave . The hotel is immaculate, the rooms spacious with lovely touches like daily fruit , water and a stocked mini bar on arrival, it was my birthday whilst I was there , and a lovely cake appeared in the room. Would highly recommend the valley wing to anyone, worth paying the extra for as you also receive breakfast, afternoon tea, canapé and nibbles with unlimited drinks including veuve clicquot champagne..amazing.

What an outstanding hotel! From arriving to leaving it was an experience we will never forget! Total luxury, one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in! Staying in the hotel was an experience in itself from the staff, the rooms, the food, the pool the location-everything is a total pleasure. Will most certainly be back this New Year! Thank you so much

We were at the Shangri-La Singapore for a few days during a Singapore monsoon, but no matter, because the hotel is a holiday in itself. I'm not sure if all guests get such amenities but we were greeted with a gorgeous tray of delicious fruits and chocolate. We had a garden view room and it was a tropical paradise. The pool looked so inviting if only the rain would stop. Don't hesitate: book this hotel.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at with outstanding customer service. This hotel is beautiful. We organised the hotel to do our transfers from airport and whilst we felt it was grossly overcharged we had staff welcome us at the gate, escort us through immigration and to our bags so we were looked after from the moment we stepped foot off the plane. We had two rooms side by side in the garden wing. Absolutely beautiful rooms. Amazing stunning garden and waterfall ride outside our room. We overlooked the pool. Rooms were kept to an amazing standard. Housekeeping was the highest quality and our rooms were cleaned immaculately each day. For a country focusing on sustainability- suggest moving away from the single use soaps and washes etc. very wasteful. Water park for kids was also great The restaurants on site were great. The Italian was amazing!! Biggest criticism was breakfast. People are packed into a small space like sardines. Very unhygienic. When everyone is in such a small space staff need to be serving customers. Just in one breakfast serving I saw a child pickup a plate, put its hands all over it and the mum put it back on the pile, and another man cough into his hands and then use his hands to serve his food. Just because it’s a 5 star hotel doesn’t mean you have guests to match. I spent 2 days extremely unwell and stuck in my room because I got sick. Cant help but think it was from poor hygiene at breakfast from others. The staff working on breakfast also need better training. We were a group of 5 and almost daily the girl would walk off after us giving 1-2 of our drink orders. Without fail every day she got the order wrong. Never once did she write it down. Every single day the order was wrong which was so frustrating, with times our drinks being nothing like what we ordered. The coffee was also foul undrinkable most days. Overall I thought this hotel was amazing except for our breakfast experience. I would stay here again Also a tip would be to use Grab app for ordering taxi. We paid $75 for one trip when the same trip on grab was less than $30.
