If you're ever planning a trip to Singapore, then The Warehouse Hotel is an excellent luxury hotel to experience the best of this bustling city. This modern, recently restored boutique hotel in the Robertson Quay neighborhood features rooms with historic details and a refined restaurant serving local classics.

Be very careful about what room you choose! The location is pretty good, but if you go for a basic room for roughly $500 per night (!), you will end up with a room without a window. Yes, without a single window! Incredible, but true… Needless to say, staff does not care. And to top it all, your Marriott bonvoy status is not honored whatsoever. Singapore is completely overrated. Customer service is dreadful, as they always fill up anyway. Avoid!

This was an absolutely incredible experience. It's probably the most unique hotel I've ever been to, as it's built on a heritage property of distilleries and warehouses from the 1800s. The amenities that were built into the property felt very premium and fantastic. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on, and the bathtub is quite large.

Our travel agent had booked a 3-night stay at The Warehouse. Our experience was so bad that we didn’t spend any nights there, even though the stay had been prepaid and non-refundable. We actually went over to the Ritz Carlton, and stayed in a room overlooking the Marina. That hotel was spectacular, worth the cost of paying twice for 3 nights (which we blame our travel agent for). The rooms at The Warehouse were small, dark, poorly designed, with no sitting area (unless you count a 2-foot space between two walls as space). The service was extremely limited, as in no bell boys, no 24-hour room service, etc. When we asked to pay to get a better room, they took us to a room that was about a foot larger (much too late, we learned they have a suite available, but unclear why they didn’t offer it when we asked for it. It was actually available). There were many examples of poor management for a hotel that holds itself out to be 4-star. I hate leaving bad reviews for hotels, but this one really went the extra mile. I will spare you more examples.

If you are looking for a very nice hotel in a quiet area of Singapore, look no further. You will receive a warm welcome from friendly staff. We stayed in the River View Room on the ground floor, which was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. There are a number of cafes and restaurants across the river, so you don't need to go far for a meal. The hotel is in Robertson Quay, which is a short taxi drive to Marina Bay. A great hotel for a Singapore stopover.

Hotel only has 30 over rooms but does not seem to short of staffs at all. The staffs are always attentive to your neats and have character much like the history of the hotel. The breakfast is served at Po, a small beautiful restaurant with delicious food. In the evening, the lobby is transformed into a youthful eclectic vibes. Refreshing experience!
