Second visit. There were some maintenance issues that caused us to move rooms, twice. Inconvenient to deal with while we were trying to do other things with our time. Also, I booked via Amex FHR and I have Hilton Diamond status but despite the hotel not being very busy, I received no room upgrade. In fact, I was greeted with an additional charge of $120 SGD each day (4 days) for a third person to be in the room, even though I did book a room for three people when I booked. I will accept responsibility for that though, as I did not review my confirmation email which showed the room was for 2 people. That is between me and Amex Travel, and I only mention so others can read this and be sure to check theirs closely before arriving. Breakfast was good, but repetitive. Executive lounge is excellent. Massage at the spa was very good. Housekeeper was very kind and accommodating; she even noticed that I only used one type of coffee pod, and left me extra of that one. She also left extra waters in the room. I would say this is a 4-Star hotel, not a 5-Star hotel. Service was fine overall, but I have experienced better at a Doubletree. Should I find myself in Singapore again, I will book a different hotel.

Really well located for a tourist stay at the best end of the city for most of the major sites. Hotel feels nearly new and very modern. In a classy area surrounded by bars, restaurants and shopping malls. Walkable to the Marina Bay Sands area over a pedestrian bridge but maybe not on such a hot day as today! One stop on the MRT otherwise so really handy. The Exec lounge was great with a wide selection of food and drinks. Service in there was excellent of course. It did fill up pretty quickly and whilst it does have more space than first appears you could struggle to get a chair with a view. Breakfast downstairs in the main area was good however we did have to queue on both mornings and our hot food was quite cold on both occasions. We made the mistake of checking out and trying the other Conrad at Orchard but soon cancelled the two night stay so we could return here. I don’t get the reviews which say they are very similar, they are miles apart and actually feel like a different brand completely.

Hilton’s older Conrad in Singapore, before the former Regent became the Conrad Singapore Orchard. Because this has been a Hilton property for much longer, the quality is amazing: beautiful rooms, friendly service, welcome amenities, and an amazing view from the outdoor pool. I especially appreciate the free snacks offered upon my arrival (see photo), including white and milk chocolates, a healthy snack box, fruits, and curry cookies. Colgate mouthwash and toothpaste are offered in the bathroom, along with the typical Byredo Mojave Ghost scented products typical of Conrad properties. A little baggie of bath salts, color agnostic shoe polish and a shoe mitt are also offered, along with four cartons of water on a daily basis. Good stuff. The rainfall shower was a real one - though the operation was a little confusing so be warned. Everything else amenity and room wise seemed normal, outside of the TV - weirdly low tech, as there were no smart features and only local channels. The typical Conrad splash screen was programmed as a channel somehow so even that’s a fake out. Not to compare too too much but the Conrad in Tokyo wowed me with their turndown service nighttime music channel on the TV, so I’m surprised there wasn’t something like that here. M Gym has one rack but wasn’t heavily used when I was in there. Decent amount of weights and other strength machines, as well as two benches and mats for those getting their bulk on. Cardio wise, the typical hotel assortment. Plus smaller chilled bottles of water, chilled towels, and apples and snacks. You do have to go outside (to the pool level) to access the gym, which is a little awkward. The main restaurant, Oscar’s, where breakfast is served, was fine, but didn’t have a whole ton of variety. I also thought that having a decent amount of outdoor seating is odd - who wants to eat breakfast outside in one of the most humid countries on the planet? Almost no one chose that unless they were starving and didn’t wanna wait for a table indoors (me included). At lunch, the staff seemingly forgot about me - I had to go up and ask the person at the front desk (and look like I was gonna dine and dash lmao) for someone to give me my bill after being done for about 20 minutes. Room service was quick and the chicken rice I had was good. However, this is the older Conrad. For a building with 30 floors, the fact that they only have six elevators for the entire building is a bit concerning. Especially because I can’t fathom how they work. The best way I can describe their operation is musical chairs - especially because the banks of three are separate, and the hotel recommends that you press call both banks of elevators for “efficient service” (ouch, way to call your own elevators slow). An elevator that eventually is set to arrive will turn its light on solidly, for up to a few minutes, and then flash solidly when it’s actually arriving at your floor. So you can’t look away or be too distracted. When they are called, they ding-dong…ding at every floor they stop at, but the elevator shaft seems to have no noise isolation, because you will hear several floors above and below as well as elevators going past you, even when only one is assigned to stop at your floor. So the audio cues don’t help. I have slight PTSD from those dings actually, they remind me of the McDonald’s be-do-be-do-beep, be-be-beep you hear behind the register. Like nails on a chalkboard after three days. Beyond my few quibbles, I really enjoyed my stay here. I’d like to see what this property looks like with a slight refresh, because I think some older features are what’s holding it back.

Staying couple of times at Conrad last few years, great services and happy with the welcome gestures and services. Strategic location and easy access to restaurants and shopping and business meetings and events· Always our first choice of hotel in SG.

This was the first time we have stayed in the Conrad Centennial and it was a very nice change. Normally we stay in the Hilton on Orchard Rd and it was good to be away from the hustle and bustle of Orchard for once, though tht area is easy to get to with the MRT and 36 bus stop outside. The hotel rooms are nicely maintained and are quiet. Even though the hotel was busy you hardly noticed it. A particularly nice touch was the bottle of wine we received on arrival. Food wise, I was a bit disappointed by the offerings in the executive lounge. There was not much variety, when compared to the Hilton. That said, we were well looked after, especially by Jane. We did go to Oscar's for breakfast a couple of times and there was plenty to choose from. We particularly liked the Dosa Station. Oscars even provided some delicious Burrata Salad, Caesar salad and chicken pasta for my wife to take to a friend's house for lunch. We went to the Lobby Lounge most evenings for a night cap and Jazel, Krish and Lemuel provided excellent drinks and service.
