The Vagabond Club, Singapore, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Coming on a Points Redemption/Marriott Platinum/Lifetime Gold. Based on my experience, I'd highly recommend for anyone coming from a similar Marriott status who is not tied to one location in Singapore. My status came with breakfast. Starting off by saying this is an amazing culinary experience and the best value. The quality of the ingredients and plating is up there with the very best brunches I've had anywhere in the world, including the USA where I'm from. I can't eat too much at breakfast so I had the Eggs Benedict with fruit and then a juice and tea. Seriously excited for tomorrow for my second breakfast. The room was amazing and I knew an upgrade was likely based on room availability. A cute courtyard, a Singapore-spacious room (can't expect that much space here!), and great service. I had a video call that needed to go perfect work wise, and I'm always nervous no matter how good a hotel is about the WiFi and any hiccups. Zero issues and as smooth as possible, which was amazing for me. Hospitality: Also amazing. Everyone I've interacted with has been kind and welcoming, from check in at front desk to my breakfast team to the cleaning team. Location: Given how easy Singapore is to get around and how much I like walking, location really doesn't matter to me. An easy (for me) walk to Lavender for the Green line and to Farrer Park for the Purple Line. I walked to/from both today and about 10-20 minutes apiece. But bus service I'm sure would have been faster to get to. Overall: Quite happy and wish I was staying longer than ~2 days.

I enjoyed my one-night stay at the Vagabond Club and thought it provided a great value, overall. The location is convenient close to rail and multiple buses and a quick 15/20m cab ride to Changi airport. The lobby's decoration is nice and quirky. I liked check-in on top of a rhino :). I stayed in the Musician's room, which had a unique charm and plenty of personality. It was colorful, with eclectic furniture that added character. Most importantly, it was a good size, clean, functional, and well-appointed. The room received plenty of daylight through skylights, and it was easy to make it dark by activating the electric blinds. The bed was comfortable, the AC functioned well and there was plenty of storage space. The breakfast was very good, too.

Be careful in this hotel. Housekeeping stole my phone charger and denied it. I don't recommend this hotel. Can not leave anything out. Also housekeeping doesn't come to clean unless you call. When I called after I got back to hotel. They said housekeeping off duty

I’ve been to different boutique hotel, but by far this is the best. Though construction ongoing in the other side , but it doesn’t affect me by all cost due to best costumer service from the staff. Thank you to Arriane for a warm welcome. Breakfast is generous and afternoon lounge is great. Service from Grace is excellent, the best so far i had from Marriott. will be back again for sure.

I really enjoyed my stay here at this property. The room is quite spacious and very comfy. I also love the ambiance of the executive lounge here. I also enjoyed the live jazz band. Also, Grace is so accommodating and Ariane of FO. I’ll definitely go back here.
