I came to this hotel with my weddings rings and am leaving without them. The hotel was not helpful at all in regards to this. I went to the spa for a massage. Left my rings in the locker. Came back about 20 mins later and my rings were gone. House keeping had come in as I was the last spa of the day and the rings were gone. I had to report to the police my rings stolen. The hotel refused to help me. Alexa at the front desk told me they couldn’t even contact a manager about the situation right away and that I would have to wait til 10-2pm the following day to speak to a manager. No one cared to help me there. Not one person. Never got a contact from the spa manager. $30k worth of jewelry stolen from this hotel. WE WILL NOT BE BACK AND WILL BE TAKING OUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. This hotel really showed their true colors this time around. It has completely fallen off. Service tie terrible. The restaurant service was the worst I have ever experienced. We asked to sit at a sunny table and the blonde waitress fought with us about sitting at the table and how there wasn’t any sun at the table we were picking. Pushing away our business. Didn’t even want us to come and eat there. Didn’t want to work. Extremely ignorant to our entire family. The rooms were Very dirty run down smelly clogged drains. We had to transfer rooms due to the shower drain being completely clogged and the maintenance guy brought a toilet plunger to clear the shower drain. We asked them not to use a plunger bc it looked dirty. They still used the plunger and made our entire room smell. Very unprofessional. Tons of construction going on. Our car was covered in saw dust completely every morning from the contractors sawing on balcony’s above the EV CHARGERS. We were kicked out of our parking spot on multiple occasions and refused charge by outside contractors and we are paying to stay there qnd for parking and even called ahead to make sure they had proper ev chargers for the car. I am extremely disappointed and have never experienced a worse stay in my life. I am grateful for our health but wow, do not trust this place. Take your money elsewhere.

My friend and I wanted to go somewhere neither of us had been to celebrate our retirements (of course we are too young at heart to retire) - We chose The Landing after viewing many places on-line. From the moment we arrived, we were met with friendly staff - that was only the beginning!! For the complete 5 day stay, we felt like everyone at the resort treated us special , (we even felt like the valet driver, Jason, was our personal chauffer) and we had a great stay at a beautiful location! Thanks to everyone at The Landing Lake Tahoe.

It's not worth the price and the view was really the only thing going. The rest was pretty meh. It's a glorified motel (with all the noise of a motel) at a resort price. The "resort fee" for not the best maintained bikes, uneven service, and a 12 yard motel pool is laughable and our room had a funky smell and furniture much worse for the wear than what you see on their website (the bathroom was also stupid dim). Yes, the view is lovely and the spa was great. But the rest was just getting nickled and dimed for a sub par stay. We were disappointed and I wish I'd seen the less flattering reviews before we booked. They are spot on.

Our trip and stay was amazing! Our suite was even better than the internet photos and very clean. I must say we have traveled quite a bit and this staff stood out. They were so helpful and went above and beyond!! They were always greeting us with a smile and always happy to help. A special thanks to Stephanie, Charles and Serafina!! Hope to see you all again soon!

The accomodations had a comfortable spacious living room and an excellent bubble bath. The restaurant has a salad called "3 Beet Salad" that is excellent. The catering service also had an excellent fruit salad with coconut sprinkles that was almost like dessert. There is an outdoor venue with a spectacular view to hold meetings. The location is short walk to the beach with ample seating areas and kayak/SUP rentals.
