Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa

Stayed in Dhigu in February 2025 to relaxe and recharge - best decision we could make! Wonderful resort with pristine water (probably the best we've seen in the Maldives so far) and lots of underwater life. Really great restaurant options make sure you don't leave hungry (we liked Origami and Sea.Fire.Salt most, but there's not real any restaurant you would want to miss). We felt welcome from the first to the last minute by the whole staff. Thank you especially to Ram, who made sure we really weren't missing anything, and to Mando, who really took great care that our villa was perfect during our stay.

We have visited Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort seven times, with our most recent stay in February 2025. Our experience allows us to highlight two major changes: 1. We continue to appreciate the diverse dining options, numerous activities, and the charm of the private villas. The attentive staff remains a strong positive. However, compared to our previous visit, we noticed a significant increase in the cost of certain services, including the spa, dining, and water sports activities. 2. We were disappointed by the decline in services around the swimming pool. In the past, complimentary offerings such as fruit, water, cold towels, and regular cleaning were provided daily with great hospitality. Unfortunately, this year, these services were absent. That said, the resort’s elegant accommodations and impeccable cleanliness continue to impress. The stunning scenery, serene beaches, and welcoming atmosphere further contribute to an enjoyable experience. Overall, we loved our vacation, with no major surprises—aside from the increased costs. Hasnaa provided exceptional support and assistance around the clock with kindness and respect. The resort is fortunate to have her on its team. One additional observation, unrelated to the hotel, is the ongoing construction around the island. Many new islands have emerged, featuring large buildings and high-rise structures, which is unfortunate for the beauty of this stunning lagoon!

It was a very memorable experience, with lots to do on the island and around. Snorkeling has never been so exciting. The marine life is out of this world. The buffets offered all options including gluten free and children’s options. Themed dinners were a real bonus. And the staff and very knowledgeable and friendly.

A perfect family holiday experience at Anantara Dighu, a tropical paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The experience is superb, not only because of the white sand beaches, turqoise-colored sea, lush-green jungle, but most importantly the people who are working here are amazing. The staff at the Fushi café restaurants showed great personality. I manged to play football at the resort staff island with guests and staff. I was impressed with the facility and most report do not have a full size 4G astro trauf pitch. I ended in the wining team and scored three goals. The entertainment co-ordinator Joker was great. Villa host Abdul Kadir was extremely helpful during my stay and Anwer from Gulhi Island was very friendly.
