Reviews for Naladhu Private Island Maldives

Beach paradise

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Idyllic private beach resort. Friendly staff. Good food. All day breakfast. Pristine beaches and turquoise ocean. What’s not to love. We visited in November and the weather was perfect. The beach pool villas are amazing. Secluded but with direct beach access. Sobah in the living restaurant was helpful and friendly and IBBE looked after everything we needed during our stay, ensuring the fridge was full of corona beer at all times. Recommend the private island dining experience. The Wagyu steak was superb!snorkelling was a little disappointing at picnic island. But Definitely in our top 3 holiday experiences.

A Piece of (private) Paradise.

Exceptional experience, a private island that has very easy access to the other two islands but they in turn don't have access to Naladhu...this meant we could head on over either by frequent float boats or walk the short distance, enjoy an evening with lots of other people and then come back to the privacy of the island where you rarely see more than a handful of people, food, service, amenities probably about the best there is.

Amazing experience

Our entire experience at Naladhu Private Island was amazing. From touching down at Male and beeing greeted by the Naladhu representative at arrivals all the way up to our departure. Maldives are a picturesque destination in itself but Naladhu really stands apart when compared to other hotels with the level of privacy and high level of service it offers. Our host Aslam made our experience truly memorable and took excellent care of us during the whole stay. Naladhu still allows you to enjoy the facilities of the surrounding islands with the other Anantara properties but it offers a level of privacy thats hard to compare to the others. You truly feel like you are on a private island for most of the time, there is significantly less traffic than on the other islands, most of the time we wouldnt even know there are other guests on the island. The food is of a very high quality and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of, even preparing some of our favourite dishes that were not on the menu. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Worlds best

We traveled to Naldhu in the last week of September for a week for some much needed down time. It's the tail end of the monsoon season with typical morning showers followed by hot days with skin withering sun. We were happy to trade the occasional rain shower off against the deeply discounted low season rate. We have been multiple times before and usually bring the children, this was our first trip sans kids and it was as we have come to expect amazing. We chose an ocean pool villa and the room and outlook are worlds best, on the water with a plunge pool and beautifully appointed room. The service was as always perfect, lazy breakfasts on the beach, relaxing days round the pool or interspersed with spa treatments over at the Dighu overwater spa and capped off with a cocktail in the Living Room watching the sun going down each evening. We have been all over from Bora Bora, Atutaki, Thailand, Hayman but we just keep coming back to Naladhu, it's always the benchmark for us and nothing else seems to match it.
