About the Hotel

Sun-filled terraces, sandy beach, brimming swimming pool, like gifts from the moment of early dawn until the final hours of the night, to the guests of the Royal-Riviera. A cocktail of Art Deco and Neo-Hellenic influences from the immense lounge, which overlooks the Mediterranean garden redesigned by Jean Mus and the immense blue of the Mediterranean Sea. A harmony of the colours of the South of France, morning sunlight, balcony overlooking the sea and attention to detail; everything has been thought of in order to make each and every stay a wonderful memory, leaving you with a burning desire to return. With the omnipresence of the southern gardens and views of the sea, reading a book, drinking tea in the heart of the magnificent garden, everything becomes different, more calm, more beautiful than anywhere else.

Reviews for Hotel Royal Riviera

Phenomenal

Great location, front desk staff are amazing..breakfast outstanding. I am pleasantly surprised, lovely hotel, full of charm, genuine staff and experience…where the hotel is lacking in space in spa facilities and gym it more than makes up in other areas. I will be back!!

Royal Riviera Review

There are not enough stars in the universe to properly award the hotel Royal Riviera. Simply saying this is a great hotel is an understatement to a large degree. Each team member's love, dedication, passion, and commitment create an energy and environment you never want to leave. I am serious when I say that. You are not simply another guest at the hotel; instead, they make you feel as if you are the “only” guest. From reservation to concierge, food, and beverage to housekeeping, their attention to every small detail is flawless. To ensure an authentic French Riviera experience, talk to Xavier and the concierge team. He has booked many unforgettable dining excursions for me and many more adventures of my lifetime. A true pleasure to work with. I promise you will not be disappointed. Speaking of dinner, opt to stay in and eat at one of the two in-house restaurants to experience the culinary mastery of Chef de Cuisine Geoffroy, Chef Pâtissier Lucas, and their assistants in the kitchen. The rooms are decorated with subtle elegance. They are calm in tone, clean (spotless, to be exact), and luxurious. The beds are some of the best in the entire world. The grounds are well-manicured and peaceful. The pool is heated, which is always inviting, as are the flower arrangements they have placed throughout. Then there is the aroma of the Royal Riviera—it is specific and memorable. Time seems to suspend itself within the walls of this pretty pink hotel. I travel far and often, yet here is the only place in the world I cannot wait to return to. Everyone works together seamlessly. They have become my friends and like an extended family across the ocean. So, is this a great hotel? Wow, it is so much more than that! The hotel Royal Riviera is “the” true heart (beat 🩷) of La Côte d'Azur. (*I have stayed here many times 😊)

Outstanding hotel

Truly top notch hotel. The service is impeccable and the rooms and grounds are gorgeous, very well maintained property. The location of course is also fantastic with the beach just a few steps from the hotel. We did not want to leave. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Incredible luxury hotel

Wow! This was our first stop on our honeymoon and they really set the bar! From the concierge services to the grounds, this hotel is one of a kind. They have a gorgeous pool and garden. We were booked in a room overlooking both as well as a partial sea view. They had champagne in our room as a welcome gift since we were on our honeymoon. Be sure to take advantage of the spa and saunas as well. We were a few steps away from a private beach, the beach club was closed when we were there, but we still went down to the water since the weather was so nice. We were able to order room service for no extra charge, the only hotel to offer that for our entire honeymoon! We took advantage of that every day! We would love to come back here! The room and bathroom were quite large which was a nice bonus!

Brilliant

Simply a lovely hotel experience. The staff, the room and particularly the breakfasts were all just great. The staff were friendly, very knowledgeable and their service was seamless. We had a beautiful room on the third floor which was full of light and had a very restful interior design. Being able to walk into Port de St Jean, Beaulieu and Villefranche really added to the overall experience and swimming in November in the heated pool most mornings before breakfast was just great. Room service in the evening after a big lunch out was exactly what we wanted. We have just left but are already planning our return next November. I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough.
