We booked a swim-out suite that ended up being a private pool for the majority of our stay. The room was good but the service was really what made all the difference. Christopher, Alain, and Glenn all worked so hard to make our stay feel so special.

Christopher was our butler and he made our stay unforgettable! From helping us book trips and setting up bubble baths to getting me late night milk and cookies, he was ready and excited to respond to any request. If you're fortunate enough to get him assigned to your room, you're in for a treat!

We've been going to Iberostar Grands for about 20 years, and have actually become Double Black Diamond Members. That additional credential has been quite nice to have. This was a good trip -- 100% because the staff. Management pretty well screwed up. The first thing was when we were informed that there were no longer reservations anywhere except the Japanese hibachi place. Every night was an ordeal to get to eat where we wanted -- but thankfully, Ambassador Cedric, Ambassador Rushane, and Butlers Berris and Jamie we able to get us in. TO THE TOP MANAGEMENT -- The decision to eliminate reservations was among one of the dumbest mistakes I have ever seen in operations. It threw the place into chaos, which was only handled due to the please I mentioned above. The Ladies in the The Club Room were incredible and very helpful...Brianna, Shannon, Troy-Ann, and Genet are awesome. On the last day of our vacation, we go down to the beach and found that most of the staff was on strike. The Club Bar was closed, because there was no-one to run it. Except Brittany, who was left there to work the entire setup and service of all club guests until my wife complained to The Club Office and to Cedric. She had two people to help after they stepped in. On that last night, the only restaurant open was the Buffet. Every single guest in the resort had to eat in there. You can only imagine the cluster-$%^& that was. However the staff, once again, pooled together and pulled it off. Kacyan in the bar was incredible, and Karen and Shannet in the Buffet were phenomenal. TO THE TOP MANAGEMENT -- the local staff are the main reason we go to your resort -- it is there service that keep us coming back. People like those mentioned above, as well as The Club Beach-Folks like Donovan, Moesha and Renee. I don't know your margins or cost ratios, but if you don't take of these people, we are two patrons who will wander off.

Christopher and Alain were superb Butlers. This was my first time booking the butler service and will not be the last. They were both pleasant and attentive. They went above and beyond the expected service. If you vist here, pray to get them as your butlers. Salute and Respect to them both.

3rd trip to Rose Hall Iberostar. The hotel is starting to show its age but we notice efforts to upgrade and improve. Unfortunately a strike occurred on our day 1 which negatively affected our experience day 1 and 2. Cedric Reid to the rescue and our meal times were scheduled without concern. All staff members are friendly and helpful; special shoutouts to our team of butlers, Gary, Ralston, Kadeen, Rohan - continuity and communication of service was somewhat lacking among the butlers but we were mostly pleased with their efforts. Our wedding anniversary was missed but they all tried to make it up the following day. Food service was great in all the restaurants; food quality was inconsistent. Sharon in housekeeping went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and clean. Very friendly human!! Can’t forget the gal at the cat sanctuary - very dedicated and welcoming to all. Spa services were great especially Samantha, the outdoor/beach massage therapist. But above all, Cedric was the key to a successful stay.
