This hotel is huge, out of town (30 mins approx walk) so you are reliant on taxis or the hotel shuttle service which finishes dropping into town at 17:30, not very convenient if you’re going out for dinner. Staff all very friendly, a glass of fizz upon check in was appreciated. We were “upgraded” to a newly refurbished room at the back of the hotel with a poor view (see photo) room was quite small and so was the bathroom, but nicely done. Bed was hard and with no topper was uncomfortable. For over £550 GBP/night I expected better. Breakfast was included & was plentiful with lots of choice. Coffee each morning was lukewarm! We spent one afternoon at the indoor and outdoor pools both of which we had to ourselves and were lovely. The hotel seemed extremely quiet apart from when we went to the bar for nighttime drinks where there were very noisy children. Maybe it’s just me but I think children should not be allowed in the bar after 8 pm? Our first trip to St Moritz and prob our last. We didn’t like the concrete town centre, not sure what all the hype is about! Hotel is good but expensive.

Baby crib collapsed with our baby in it!!!!!! There had been some spotty service and rudeness here and there but the crib they provided our baby just collapsed in the middle of the night with our baby inside it. Incredibly dangerous and the front office punted the apology to the crew the next morning.

Stay away from the Saison restaurant buffet. We dined at the Kempinski Hotel in St. Moritz on December 25th, expecting a festive Christmas buffet, only to find a Chinese buffet—and quite possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had. At $200 per person, the experience was beyond underwhelming: • The food was lukewarm at best and not remotely close to authentic Chinese or Asian cuisine. • We barely ate anything, which speaks for itself. • While the service was good, it couldn’t make up for the poor food quality. • The decor felt outdated and old-fashioned, lacking the elegance expected at this price point. I also prefer staying in St. Moritz Dorf (downtown) for its easy access to dining, shops, and overall atmosphere. Save your money and go elsewhere—unless they’re paying you to eat there.

The hotel always surprises me positively. And it's like that every year when we come back. A very impressive building in a beautiful ambience. Right next to the hotel is a very beautiful cross-country ski run, where they hold World Cup competitions. This year the hotel is also hosting a big show called Billionare. It's a great addition. A very high-quality show with a very good dinner, and all of that in the hotel! The breakfasts are traditionally good, which is especially important to me - there's a lot of different fruits! There's live music in the bar in the evenings, and in general there's good food in the bar during the day. The fitness center is well-equipped, the staff is very friendly. The wellness is top-notch. They also have a cryo sauna, which is a rarity. At minus 120 degrees, the body really regenerates, even if you have tired legs or an injury. It's hard to choose what to praise about the staff, but I can highly recommend Doroteja from reservations, and the general manager Konstantin, and Kristjan and Diego at the concierge, and Elvis at the front door, and Dino... basically everyone at the door is good..... I highly recommend this hotel with charisma!
