The hotel was impeccable. I loved the grandeur of the lobby, our room, everything. The staff were very courteous & respectful. The food from the restaurants and pastries from the lobby bar were 2nd to none. The location was ideal for stay. We'll be back.

Valet service was horrendous. I would not recommend staying here if you intend to use their valet service.........................................................................................................................

Hotel is very nice for a classic non-chain hotel. Rooms were clean amnd classic but they could use a bit TLC. Drinks and food is a bit spendy. They hit you $40 for parking. Taxes and fees add up. Overall, it is good stay for downtown St. Paul. Shop the price around. Expedia commonly has a deal.

Wonderful step-back-in-time hotel! Within walking distance of many locations (we went and saw a musical at the Orpheum just on the other side of the park and walked to Candyland the next day for some treats). Service was top-notch. We went exploring the hotel and there were so many nooks and crannies with lots of historical pictures and artifacts.
