We have been coming to Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge for over 20 years and always enjoy our time there. The setting and ambiance is magnificent and the experience always leaves us wanting to come back again soon. The rooms and restaurant however although comfortable need to be upgraded and modernized so that the full quality feel and value for money is experienced.

Failure/ refusal to provide tax invoices for re-imbursement

I stayed at Kwa Maritane 14, 15, 16 November for a medical congress. I (and colleagues) have since fought a fruitless battle to obtain tax invoices to claim re-imbursment from our company. The lodge does not answer emails of phone calls (the phone either rings or is put down shortly after answering. This is exceedingly poor service from a overpriced lodge. Since one cannot claim without a valid tax-invoice, this is not a suitable venue for business or conference purposes.

Such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Besides the beautifully decorated rooms, a lovely terrace the enjoy some down time and great food, the highlight for me was seeing elephants directly on the property! The hotel team was super friendly and professional and helps organizing and amazing safari experience. It was an experience like no other! I can’t wait to be back!!

We came here for the weekend and i will be back but there could be a few improvements The rooms were perfect with a nice balcony that overlooked the reserve, amenities and more The pool area at reception was AMAZING, the pool was coldish but was perfect for the heat The restaurant had a buffet for dinner and breakfast that was just perfect. The game drives were nice with comfortable vehicles and responsible drivers.
