Grand Beach Hotel Surfside

I'm two minded on this one, I'll start with the pro's Love the property, definitely the best one out of the Grand Beach hotels. The lobby is huge and welcoming, has a really nice atmosphere with lovely chairs to sit on. The staff at check in were very friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are upgraded, very comfy beds. The rooftop pool is a gem, even if its windy you don't really feel it at the top, plenty loungers with brand new cushions. For the con's If you're a light sleeper you will not appreciate that the air-condition unit is right opposite the beds, and sounds like an industrial fridge, even if you switch it off it makes a noise and then you get too hot... Also the balcony's don't have any privacy unless you sit right near the door as you can see in the picture.. I would love to come back but i don't enjoy sleeping with earplugs.

Carlos is such a friendly bartender and really added to our experience at Grand Beach. His knowledge on the area and beverages was exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel, bar & bartender! Our first time in Miami and we will be back here again!

The manager (Carlos) at the lobby level hotel bar was immaculate. His energy and friendliness is unmatched. Truly the cherry on top of our vacation. Knowledgeable on the area as far as restaurants and fun places to go. 10/10 experience and will be coming back soon.

I’ve stayed at every Grand Beach Hotel numerous times now and by far my favorite is Surfside because of a front desk staff member by the name of Gaslaine. I’m here at least twice a month and every time I see her, she is the most accommodating, kind, patient, and helpful person. She really makes my trip from checking in to having my room serviced to needing extra water to charging my phone to extending my stay to re-activating my key cards, so seamless and simple, all while having such a positive energy and smile. She is just all around a breath of fresh spring air and is also the reason that I will continue staying at Grand Beach Surfside, 100%. Highly, highly recommend GB Surfside. The service workers are all helpful. There are so many examples when they noticed we needed assistance. Impressed by their friendly staff. Room is spacious and we had an oceanfront room with balcony. Everything clean. Beds are comfortable. Worthwhile stay!
