Truly luxurious without being overwhelming. The stay was delightful, and breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. The amenities were top-notch, and we loved the calm atmosphere of the bar in the evenings. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a lavish yet comfortable experience.

Luxurious but not pretentious. A great stay and the breakfast was amazing. The staff were all pleasant and attentive and the amenities were great. We also enjoyed spending some quiet time in the bar in the evening as it was quite serene. Would recommend, especially if you want a more lavish affair.

Wow. What an experience. I have always bypassed this hotel to book the four seasons or the Shangri La. How I regret this. This is a far more superior hotel at every level. The location. The team. The room. The facilities. Don’t do what I did, consider this as a first option.

Located in the centre of the Sydney CBD, the Fullerton is a gorgeous hotel, residing in the 150 y.o. General Post Office building. You can feel the history as you wander through the entrance and take in the beautiful interior of the atrium. The rooms are lovely, quiet, with adequate space and the bed was comfy. The breakfast buffet (which was great) is located on a higher level of the atrium, and it’s a really nice space with the broad skylight overhead, although this area feels quite crowded at peak times - a little more spacing of the tables would have been nice.

This is a chronological order of my experience at the Fullerton Sydney First impression at check-in … the front desk clerk asked ‘Are you excited’ ???? while she was looking at the computer screen, zero eye contact! The bread in the unusually juicy club sandwich room service was soggy and wet beyond the worst standard of days old sandwich The hot water takes more than 3minutes to come out of the shower (in Summer November!) I always hear next doors open and close banging The Club lounge breakfast pastries were unacceptably dry! To the Fullerton staff management…. tell your staff to smile… talk to your guests with eye contact cause we all know that’s rude otherwise right? Great building, great heritage but I just paid for your real estate by the night! I will NOT BE COMING BACK AND WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS WITH THIS BUDGET TO SPEND TO STAY ELSEWHERE.
