Best for couples
Amazing couple escape! Perfect for the couple that wants to get away for a weekend. Perfect location. Affordable room service. Beautiful inside and out. Staff is amazing and the breakfast is great. Highly advise to stay here! They also service special occassions

Short business trip
Centrally located in the middle of Sydney CBD. Clean, large quiet room in the old part of a historic GPO. Efficient check in and out. Good gym facilities. Comfortable bed but pillows too soft. Unclear if pillow menu was available. Pleasant stay.

The building is beautiful. The location is central to transit or walking all over town. The staff is unfriendly at best, intentionally invisible at worst. After a 17 hour flight to Sydney for our first ever visit, a smiling face or a kind word of welcome would be lovely. Thankfully we found these everywhere in Sydney except the 5 star hotel we booked. The doormen, the front desk staff, the waiters and manager at The Bar. Universally unapproachable and unaccommodating. But at least we were being ignored/dismissed stylishly, I guess. Pop in and take a walk around. It's glorious. Do not recommend staying here.

Perfection
Service was impressive and all of the staff were very polite and did their job with a smile. The beds were devine and we had the best night's sleep. The highlight was the perfectly chilled prosecco in The Bar. Faultless stay and will definitely return.

Absolutely Lovely Hotel, rooms very clean and pleasant to reside in.
Didn’t like the large pillows at all, (same in previous visits) they collapse, chased them all night for support, only one firm pillow in the room for two people. Hotel TV remote maybe needs new batteries and TV station difficult to navigate.
