With funky modern decor and close proximity to Kings Cross nightlife and cafe culture, this hotel ticks all the boxes. Rooms are clean, modern, and, like the rest of the hotel, very funky. Pinks and purples galore, but it's well done. The hotel has a basic small cafe outlet at street level. The menu is minimal, but the coffee is great. Best of all is the proximity, walking distance, to the restaurants and bars of Kings Cross.

Another Indigo hotel with great grades. From the front desk (Kudos to Shannon), small but fulfilling breakfast options, great location (near the Opera House), and in a chick neighborhood, you will find commodity stores, pharmacies, restaurants and even a Red bus stop walking distance. The only drawback is they have two lifts but one is constantly being used to move dirty laundry (large containers that don't leave space for customers) and you have to wait a couple of trips to get one. Rooms are large and bathrooms fair. Only drawback is they do not replenish coffee, so you will have to ask the front desk for some more capsules.

I only stayed one night. It is a great location and my room was very comfortable. The hotel felt new and modern in a good way. If I were staying longer I would have asked to upgrade to a higher room. My view was average but it didn’t matter to me. The restaurant attached to the hotel was great. Food excellent and staff lovely.

This was a super cute Hotel Indigo with the nicest folks working there! Comfy bed, clean room, and the hallways felt right out of a rock star documentary. The location is great for nightlife and dining out. With a short walk to the train station, the location can’t be beat!

From the moment you enter the lobby, it's clear that Hotel Indigo doesn't take itself too seriously. The vibe is "disco businessman's hotel" so think fun LED lighting and quirky touches in a very serviceable package. In keeping with that theme, staff were not the most sophisticated in the world, but young and cheerful. Our one bedroom suite was half the price of the Park Hyatt (which I loved, and have also reviewed), spacious, with plenty of drawers and closet space, and comfortable-ish. Totally enjoyed the whacky touches in the room, like a record player, loads of books on local interest subjects, and the hot pink chairs. Only downside to the rooms is that, other than the bed, the furniture was wildly uncomfortable. Sit on the sofa at your peril. But whatever, we didn't spend a whole lot of time sitting around in our room so that was forgivable given the price point. The neighborhood is popping - loads of cafes, restaurants and shops, and centrally located if you're looking to explore. There's no gym in the hotel, but you have access to the Anytime Fitness next door so that works perfectly well. I would definitely stay here again!
