Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Sydney

Great hotel centrally located

Nice hotel in perfect location near quays, darling harbor, the rocks. Decent gym and locker rooms are perfectly appointed and kept and beds super comfortable. Only drawback is busy with conventions. I would definitely stay here again if prices well

3 star building but 5 star service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

The staff and room service breakfasts are very good at the four seasons but the actual hotel building needs a major refurb. It’s dark and outdated and smells fusty. Our corridor constantly had a smell of old food because the 1 hotel restaurant is not adequate for a hotel this size. Room service is encouraged especially for breakfast. Our room was tiny with a bathroom the size of a cupboard. There is no space for cases and it was just very cramped. Sadly the hotel did not live up to the usual FS standard. During our stay I cut my foot on a piece of glass in the bathroom ( we didn’t break a glass during our stay so this wasn’t cleaned properly before we arrived). I called and a cleaner was sent immediately with a first aider but this should not have happened in the first place. 2 days later I had a call to apologise from head of housekeeping with a promise of a gift of wine or cheese as a good will gesture. It never arrived. The staff are definitely the positive at the property. Concierge arranged a trip and car for us which was amazing. Just need a major update to the actual building!

Awesome views of bridge and harbor, miniature bathrooms

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The views from bedroom are pretty amazing. Bridge and opera house, lots of boat activity. Location is great, The Rocks and harbor are literally right out the door, short walk to the bridge. Staff was all very friendly. Bed is really comfy, sheets just crisp and soft enough. Requested feather pillows. The room was small and the bathroom was miniature. The closet was big enough for one suitcase and really no where to store clothing. There is only one bathroom sink and everything is laid out right next to each other. The shower door opens into the toilet and the bathtub and sink forms a tight circle to stand in the bathroom sink. The shower also sprayed out of the door and made the floormat or floors very wet. The gym was very busy one morning we used it. The cardio machines face a window that gets direct sun. I was going to use the rower but it was sitting right under very bright sun. Breakfast was nice, rotating Asian option each day. The kimchi is very good.

A view to take your breath away

Wonderful hotel with excellent rooms, staff, breakfast, facilities and views. When entering my room I was simply overwhelmed by the view. I was on 30th floor, harbour facing. I could not fault anything and if in Sydney again would definitely return.

5 Star experience, location and value.

Do yourself a favour and book this hotel. My husband and I had a night stay at the Four Seasons for an anniversary celebration. From check-in to housekeeping to the front desk to the operator all staff were efficient helpful and very friendly. Our room (1820 )was extremely well appointed and furnished with a view of the Opera House and Circular Quay. As far as hotels are concerned the bed was the best, like sleeping on a cloud, a dream to sleep in. The toiletries in the bathroom were of high standard, bar and coffee facilities made the visit very comfortable. The pool area is very comfortable and the pool bean bags make for a relaxing float. The hotel is in one of the best positions with access to Circular Quay the Rocks and the City. A lovely walk around the Quay to the Opera Hosue, and Botanical Gardens. 24 hours of bliss.
