Grand Victoria Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Grand Victoria Hotel in Taipei, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff provided a warm and professional welcome, ensuring a seamless check-in process and attending to every detail of my stay. We’ve been at this hotel for just over a week. The rooms are quite spacious and well furnished. The rooms are cleaned each morning and generous amounts bottled water and tea provided but no milk so I provide my own. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The breakfast for foreigners is limited but there is certainly plenty of food on offer. I was well looked after by the staff with a specie mention to Allan and a mature jovial cook from the kitchen who ensured we had everything we wanted, he also taught me a couple of Chinese words. The lady chef worked like grease lightening. We have enjoyed our stay here and will certainly return to the Victoria next year (my wife’s parents live in Taipei). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The view and the location of the hotel is very convenient. It's very clean and service is awesome. I arrived on time and they welcomed me with big smile and upon request they extended my checkout time as well. Staff is helpful and service is good. We have Metro just few blocks away from the hotel which makes this hotel very useful for solo traveller like me.

Awesome experience. The location was really good for me as a first time Taipei visitor. The subway station is a quick 5 minute walk from the property. I booked the property with the intention of swimming, but the outdoor pool was closed for the season. I wasn't aware of what to expect with the local climate I guess. The buffet breakfast was very good. The room was very spacious and relaxing when I was at the hotel resting from my touring. I would definitely book this again if I come back to Taipei.

The staffs are friendly and helpful, they assist with what I need and answered my questions promptly. The room is clean and spacious. Tea, coffee, snacks and water are served everyday. Location is good too, a mall is right next to the hotel, also only 3 minutes walking to MRT station. We enjoyed our stay here!
