Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa

The East Tower rooms are quite nice. Our room was not cleaned during our say. The staff was very friendly from housekeeping to front desk to restaurant staff and spa staff. The pool is fabulous and the food at the pool, particularly the cheeseburger and waffle fries (green salad side available), are extremely delicious. I do feel the hotel is overly expensive even with our Unity points. My husband enjoys the casino until the early morning hours. I use the fitness center 2 times per day as well as the pool facilities the balance of each day. We only stay 4x per year so probably aren't the casinos core market. The facility is fairly secure as you must use your key card at a security desk to enter the elevator area to access your room. I did find using the fitness center various hours that the restroom is not open unless the spa is open. This requires you go all the way up to your room if you need to use the restroom or down to the casino. I was told by the spa manager that they were required to do this because people were sleeping in the restrooms. This is not a guest issue, this is a security issue. At the very least they should have key access to these restrooms so guests can use them at any time, 24/7 that the fitness center is open. I did discuss the lack of restroom access for the fitness center with the spa manager and was told that the restrooms would be locked if the spa was not open; essentially that was how it would be. Even she did agree this was a security issue because of the people sleeping in the restroom. It seems the root cause should be addressed by security rather than penalizing guests. Sometimes he's smaller issues leave a bad taste regarding guests stay.

Over 30 slot trips there since the first of the year. Neither of us has had even a 10x hit on any slot on the property. This place is depressing. You lost thousands, but are awarded 10 free play. I speak with youtubers who refuse to even play here anymore. You should just feed 100s into a vacuum, you will get more play ability. Tampa needs another casino.

Rate it a 1, the slot machines there are a ripoff. I’ve counted now 9 times I’ve walked through those doors spending between 500 - 1,000 dollars. 9 times walked out without a dime until going to the ATM after leaving. Those machines are rigged.

Absolutely horrible experience! I would NOT recommend anyone stay here. This is by far the worst of the Hard Rock resorts. Service in the room NEVER happened despite our 4 day stay. Manager never responded or even acknowledged our concerns.

Tonight me and my wife went to the hard Rock hotel and casino of Tampa. The only good part was the the eatery, other than that it's nothing this place is a loser if you think you're going to win something here at this casino your chances is pretty much slim to none. Please save your money for another establishment where they have competition because the hard Rock has none in the state of Florida. Come to think about it when we was there was a group of people complaining telling us how bad they lost so it wasn't just us who were complaining about this place. My wife has last the last 20 times playing the slot machines this don't make any sense that you would lose every single time. At The Hard Rock hotel and casino of Tampa something is very weird about this place. For me I lost almost $200 playing poker in the poker room for some reason it's always the person next to me that wins which I don't understand maybe they have it out for me there, and probably taking it out on my wife for some reason I see a lot of people losing I think this is one of the worst casinos in the state of Florida another thing I can say since I've been coming here for the last 24 years. I would suggest you try another big casino out of the state of Florida. The hard Rock hotel and casino should not be able to control the whole state of Florida they need some competition because right now they are being very greedy by not allowing people to win anything in this casino they used to be okay. As far as me I never liked the automatic shufflers and I believe that the automatic shuffles is rigged and I've been playing cards for 50 years of my life I've been playing cards. So trust me I know when something is not right. I don't call it luck when I play poker, the majority is skill with some luck, but I've seen my chances in winning go from high to pretty much always losing because I've been always speaking of these automatic shuffles and I think everybody knows that the casinos can pretty much predict where the cards are going to go on the tables.
