Me and my family decided to book a trip to Bali and we decided to go with the hotel Sakala. This resort is so gorgeous and beautiful and the staff there are so kind. These past couple of days during the breakfast buffet we were always greeted by such kind ladies at the front. We would also like to shoutout another employee Novan. He was so kind and helpful with everything and was always ready to assists us. If anything I believe he deserves a raise. I just wanted to say thank you for the gifts and the yummy fruit you gave us. I wish you the best 😇.

There are many many matters, small but many, that we didn’t think should be an issue at a 5 star resort. Both the reception manager and hotel/resort manager aware of these issues. These are excluded in the following only regarding New Year’s Eve dinner. We had prebooked the New Year’s Eve dinner, so we of course asked that there hopefully wouldn’t be any mistakes there. We were guaranteed that everything would be of 100 percent perfection. But NO. The first and only food from the buffet that I took was lobster and it was RAW!! So disappointing being guaranteed that everything would be in order. Of course I asked for a refund because I did not want to eat anything from that buffet knowing that serving raw lobster was the apparent standard, but instead there were apologies and maybe as an excuse for not dealing with the whole problem I was also told that lobster can be eaten raw (this I know, but served very differently). I am very surprised on how bad service from the management we have received and how poorly they have handled the faced problem by not coming up with an acceptable solution.
