Excellent service from all the staff, reception, concierge, in the bar and the restaurant. Lovely view of the bay from our room. Shuttle bus to Taormina very convenient. The hotel is pricey but worth it. We had a small issue with our bar bill which had been charged twice but was quickly sorted without any fuss.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to a beautiful beach with breathtaking views. The service is excellent, and the staff is attentive, making you feel well cared for throughout your stay. While the rooms are a bit dated in style, they are comfortable and clean, and the charm might appeal to those who enjoy a classic look. The stunning views and proximity to the beach more than make up for the old-fashioned decor. Overall, a great stay for beach lovers, and with some updates to the rooms, it could be outstanding.

We went there for a very light lunch, because we had reservations at a Michelin starred restaurant for dinner. We sat on the terrace and had tartare three ways - prawn, white fish and tuna - plus beef carpaccio, followed by cannoli and ice cream. Everything was absolutely perfect, and the quality of the ingredients was extraordinary. Some Etna rose, and service from lovely Lydia, made a memorable lunch. It is going to be difficult for the Michelin starred place to compete.
