Hotel Villa Ducale

When my family and I arrived at Villa Ducale, we were greeted with warmth, kindness, and compassion— the true Sicilian way. Our accommodations were spectacular, with views of Mt Etna, and all of Taormina. After exploring the town all day, Villa Ducale helped arrange a bus to pick us up! They care about their guests, and will do all they can to ensure the best stay! I highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to return this upcoming year.

This was our second stay at Villa Ducale (May 2023 and September 2024). The hotel was recommended from friends that have stayed there in the past. Both stays left us with a desire to return. The accommodations were impeccable; the staff and cuisine were exceptional; and the views are breathtaking! Truly a "la dolce vita" experience that I recommend! Enza

An incredible experience with the staff, accommodations, room, and service. I travel to Sicily quite often and this has been the best hotel experience yet. The rooms are clean; the staff are accommodating; and the views are spectacular. I can’t wait to return this year.

We enjoyed the room and the daily cleaning with nightly turndown service. Views from the dining area were also exceptional including a view of Mt. Edna. However, we were not impressed with other parts of our stay. Breakfast was basically the same everyday and service was generally lacking during our meal. Dirty plates were rarely removed from our table and seldom were we asked if we needed anything or if we enjoyed our meal. Noise from two sources were a daily issue. When we weren’t hearing dogs barking, we were often hearing the staff loudly talking as they cleaned the premise. While we enjoyed our stay, the overall experience was not exceptional. We loved our room but otherwise weren’t impressed with the rest of the experience. There was noting extraordinary about the experience to cause us to return or recommend it to others. Lots of money - light on service.

We spent our honeymoon week here and the hotel, food and service was just impeccable, with a special mention to Max Sallo our waiter. We loved the parmigiana and canollis at breakfast. A great base to explore Taormina and the wider region. Can’t wait for our next visit.
