Hotel Villa Taormina
Via Pirandello 81
Taormina, Italy
What a wonderful find! We stayed at hotel villa Taormina over Easter and even though the hotel was full it never felt busy. The hotel is very close to the main shopping street with all the restaurants so you are really in the middle of the action - however the hotel itself is an oasis of calm and serenity. The staff were simply wonderful - more like thoughtful friends who really care and nothing was too much to ask. We enjoyed our garden room - especially relaxing in the outdoor hammock with the enchanting smell of orange blossom. We also had some nice cocktails on the hotel terrace with extraordinary views of Etna and the bay. Only downside is that the hotel has many steps so might be hard to navigate for these with mobility issues - but it was not a problem for us. Generally speaking the hotel punches way above its four stars (and we are fussy). Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely magical stay here. I would given the hotel 10 stars. Just an amazing staff. Every single person went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were gorgeous. The location is very convenient to everything. They helped us book dinner reservations and even arranged for a guide to take us to winery for a fantastic day trip. Staying at this hotel with my family was one of the best memories I've ever made.

It’s not often I feel compelled to write a review as soon as I get home, but for this I do! Hotel Villa Taormina is a beautiful former villa with many stunning original features, perfectly clean, brilliantly located (close to everything but still quiet), and as other reviews have said: the staff are incredible - service is second to none. Everyone we met was professional and so friendly and helpful, we felt like part of a family for the week. It was our first family trip with our baby and they could not have been more welcoming and accommodating, helping arrange outings and restaurants with their handy WhatsApp service. The room itself was lovely, spacious and clean, and the pool was a great addition. The rooftop bar is also lovely, as is the lounge downstairs where we had our welcome drink and overview of the town. Breakfast was delicious every day with local ingredients and homemade cakes. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough for a stay in stunning Taormina!

This boutique hotel is a Taormina gem. We stayed for a week and had the best time using the hotel as our base to explore the region. The hotel itself is so elegant and beautifully decorated. Our room was perfectly appointed, and we had a view of Mt. Etna from our balcony. The breakfast was a daily highlight with so many delectable local foods and fruits. And relaxing in the secret garden while enjoying the view over Taormina and the Ionian Sea was so special. But what made our stay truly memorable was the staff. Rarely have we enjoyed such attentive service. Each of them went out of their way to make sure we were having the best possible experience, and they succeeded! One day my wife decided to rest in the hotel instead of going out, and the staff brought her homemade minestrone soup to our room. And when we checked in we got a tour of the hotel and an overview of Taormina that got everything off to a great start. One local resident we met spontaneously called Hotel Villa Taormina the most authentic hotel in Taormina, and we could not agree more. The location, amenities, and staff can't be beat.

The villa is beautiful. All the elegant charm of a stately former residence. You feel like an aristocrat staying there. The breakfast is just as elegant. Pastries are made by the chef there and all are yummy. It is an easy walk to the main area of Taormina yet just far enough away from the crowds. Very nice.
