The Carlton Tel Aviv

The Carlton has beautifully appointed rooms with tremendous views. The breakfast overlooking the sea is not to be missed. The hotel has an intimate feel and the staff is caring. If possible, book a floor with club room privileges, which adds an additional touch of luxury.

We had an unforgettable stay at Carlton Tel Aviv while celebrating a birthday and Valentine’s Day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly special, with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience. Our room was elegant, spacious, and offered stunning views of the Mediterranean—perfect for a romantic getaway. The hotel even surprised us with a special treat for the occasion, which made the celebration even more memorable. Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and served with a breathtaking sea view. The rooftop pool and lounge were perfect for relaxation, and the hotel’s location right by the beach made it easy to enjoy romantic walks along the promenade. Everything was flawless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Carlton Tel Aviv exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!

The room was very comfortable with great views of the city, the beach, and the Mediterranean. The breakfast was spectacular! The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great way to start the day. This was not my first visit to the Carlton and it will not be my last.

We stayed as a couple for one night in January 2025, and had a wonderful time. The hotel is situated in the perfect spot right on the beach in the heart of Tel Aviv. They gave us a complimentary room upgrade (I'm assuming since the hotel wasn't at full capacity) and our room was large, clean, and very comfortable. It had all the conveniences including an espresso machine, robes and slippers, and they even had a lovely bottle of Cava on ice with a fruit plate waiting for us - such a nice surprise. Every hotel employee we interacted with was courteous and service-oriented. The gym was a great size and well equipped and the sea views were all lovely. Perhaps the best part is their breakfast buffet - wow. Right over the water, endless food variety, and everything delicious. We highly recommend this hotel! The one thing that wasn't perfect was our room temperature. Our room was too warm for our liking. When we called the front desk, they explained that the hotel is on a central air system so that the whole building is warmed in the winter and cooled in the summer. Our only options for cooling the room were either to leave the balcony door open to let in the outdoor air, or have them bring us a fan. I guess this is typical and I know in the summertime the AC in the hotel works great, but I didn't realize that this was the case in the wintertime. So no need for flannel pajamas if you're staying at this hotel in the winter! Overall, a fantastic hotel and we hope to be back!

I've stayed here a few times and although it's not the best hotel in town, it is a very good one and I prefer it. We had the Bianco suite 1420 which was really pretty and had great views. I actually liked it more than the 2 bedroom suite i had last time. But the other suite has a connecting room and this does not. We had 2 adjoining rooms, one of which had two beds. It was not exactly the family vibe we wanted but it was good enough as we were in a private wing of the floor behind a door. The business lounge here is excellent with very nice food. The gym, spa facilities (jacuzzi and steam room open till 8pm) and breakfast are all good enough. The Kempinski is no better to warrant the price they charge. I like this more central-north location although some people prefer to be further south. The only pain point here is that you have to open the sliding door in the winter time because the air conditioning is only a fan and it is warm in the room. My wife chose another hotel (Royal Beach) because of it for her next visit. Their Bella Vista Executive Suite rooms and lounge look nice from a site check but the facilities such as the barebones gym did not impress, especially in winter when the pool is closed.
