Beautiful resort and views. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. The staff gave us outstanding customer service, special thanks to Yaritza, Pamela, Richard and David for their assistance in helping us with my mother's surprise birthday, Definitely recommended it!

We arrived to the hotel and there was no one to greet us around 8:30pm. I dragged the suitcases up the stairs and proceeded to check in. I asked if there was availability to upgrade to an ocean front, but was told there was no availability. I later found out from an employee that they were not doing the breakfast buffet because occupancy was so low. The hotel has potential to be great, but it’s got a long way to go. The staff does try to ensure a positive experience. There were several employees who went above and beyond and made our stay absolutely outstanding. Angie at the front desk was incredible and helped me navigate things. She is bilingual and was helpful when it came to sorting things out during my stay. Giselle was also very friendly and helpful. Francisco from the restaurant took the time to get to know us, helped us order and customize our food, gave us suggestions for our stay and really went out of his way to make things wonderful. He is the VIP of this hotel and should be running the place. Ever, Richard, and Daniel were a few of servers who gave us the best service during breakfast/dinner. Leticia from the spa was just perfect. These people are amazing at what they do and deserve to be recognized. We totally loved the pool! It was clean and well maintained. Service as a whole was very slow even when we were one of two tables in the entire restaurant. I used Google translate to communicate what I wanted for dinner and food allergies, but it was often not executed upon. The restaurant was out of a certain chicken dish for several days, which made us wonder why. There was no “fresh catch”, which was odd considering this is a coastal town. The water isn’t drinkable. Instead of providing free filtered water at dinner or by the pool, the hotel sold us water that they made available free in the room. They offered two free bottles daily, but you could ask for more. There shouldn’t be a charge for filtered water on this property. The hotel can make money off of food and alcohol and a host of other things. This was disappointing. The gym was subpar. There was no recumbent bike available. There were no elevators available making it difficult for someone who is handicap and struggles to climb stairs. When I asked the hotel about booking activities posted on their website such as the Garifuna village tour and botanical gardens, they were baffled. I was referred to Jeffrey on the golf course who referred me back to the front desk. With some persistence, the hotel eventually helped me book the activities published on their website. The overall friendliness of the hotel needs work. Hotel staff as a whole do not say hello or greet you. There are exceptions. There were also higher up people observing the hotel according to some of the workers who did not acknowledge us either. The beds in the room are awful. They’re hard and uneven. These are the worst beds of any “resort” experience. The sliding door in the room was broken. We were given a plastic tubes to put in the track so our room would be secure. Maintenance never came back to fix the door as promised. The soaps in the bottles weren’t checked. We asked for replacements when a couple of the bottles were near empty. The towels were equivalent to sand paper. Just awful. This isn’t a “resort” experience. The amount of garbage that has washed ashore surrounding the property is appalling. The hotel does a good job maintaining the beach directly in front of the property, but the moment you step beyond that, you are among thousands of pieces of garbage. The hotel should work with an organization or use its workforce to help clear the beach a little farther. I highly suggest going to Roatan instead. This hotel isn’t ready for international tourism and really has some work to do. It does not live up to the Hilton Curio brand in any way and was largely a disappointment. The hotel should recruit bi-lingual people and pay them a slight premium because they are assets in welcoming non-Spanish speaking customers. This hotel would have received two stars if it wasn’t for the people mentioned in this review.

Horrible service. The worst payment I have made. Food Over Priced. The main swimming pool was closed and we did not get out resort fee back. The front desk was full of lies about the pool. Management at its worst. The food is overpriced. The main pool was not available and this was not noticed on advance. Do not come and stay on this hotel. It is not worth it.

We checked into the Indura Beach and Golf Resort Curio Collection by Hilton in Tela, Honduras on July 22 to July 24, 2024. We booked through Priceline we paid $387.98 and stayed in room 22 202. The business committed to providing a safe experience. However an injury occurred at the result of failed upkeep to the property. We have called multiple times without answer or resolution. We tried to speak with management while on the property. Each conversation ending with a promised phone call but no one has gotten in touch with us. In the morning of July 23, we were swimming in the pool when my husband got a deep cut on the bottom of his foot. It bled so much that it took multiple people to clean it up and it took a lot of towels, gauze and tape to help stop the bleeding. The pool has a ton of loose tiles and some sharp edges. This was the first morning of an eight day vacation. He is in pain to walk on the foot and is unable to go on the beach with sand and salt water getting in the wound. As a Hilton Honors member and simply as a paying guest, I expected more in terms of customer service. We have spent so many hours trying to find resolution with no avail.
