Starting with the pros: Our masseuse Kat was great! The best massage I've had, it was so relaxing! And the location of the spa is perfect, it overlooks a picturesque mountain view that we got to enjoy before our massages. Me and my friend were staying in Mt. Village and wanted to check out this spa, but I was a little apprehensive after some issues when visiting the spa and later making the appointments. But the massage from Kat and scenery made up for it. My first concern is in the women's private hot tub area there were girls using their phones, but it's clothing optional and there is a big sign on the door that says NO PHONES and in the changing area too. There was a lot people but they seemed understaffed in the women's lobby area, and it just seemed a bit hectic overall. Other issues: The process of trying to make reservations was frustrating because the girl on the phone could not spell. My friend and I have pretty common and easy names, but we had to keep spelling out for her and even if we gave an example "T" for turtle she still got it wrong. They ask for quite a bit of information when you first make a reservation, so it took awhile. My friend was also told she would get a confirmation email, but after a few hours didn't receive anything and called back. There were typos in both of our names so there was confusion because they thought our appointments were for somebody else, but it our names misspelled badly. Then we found out the email was incorrect, and she put my female friend down as Mr. My friend had to go over everything again over the phone, but when we arrived there we wanted to verify everything before checking in and the girl working the desk was so confused with our request to double check our info and asked if we wanted to edit our appointments. In the middle of this her friend walked in and she got totally distracted and made a loud high pitched squeal and ran from behind the desk to go hug and talk to her friend - as if we weren't there. After we checked in and were walking back we could still hear her saying things like "Bro, dude, shut the F up!" to her friend. We were shocked it was so rude and unprofessional. There was no else there at the time so I'll write it here if mgmt cares to address it. The front desk definitely needs to have reading/writing/listening skills, as well as better customer service...This is the ONLY spa/fitness center in Telluride so you have to put up with the inconveniences as a visitor, but it gave the appearance the front desk isn't professional or knowledgable here.

This place is amazing its our first tome and we are happy! Angel at the valet was super nice and caring. He even remembered to leave our ski bag in the car and just take the skis out. He is super professional and hard working! We love the staff here.

We love staying at The Peaks! This hotel and resort is such an elegant and pristine property. Everything is maintained to perfection and the staff is superb The room was immaculate and super comfortable with the extra blanket and the gigantic humidifier. We used both during our recent stay. It really helped us sleep better with the improved air quality. The Spa was amazing, as was Altezzas restaurant and the coffee house near the side entrance. The baristas were fabulous and we enjoyed coffee every morning. Thank you so much

Stayed at the Peaks for two weeks. The valet service, especially Mario, went above and beyond. He made two trips to the 8 floor to get us settled in. We also had a couple of maintenance issues that were taken care of expediently and satisfactorily.
