The room was clean and big enough for the three of us. We had a great time. The water for baths and shower was cold, other than that it was great to stay at Southcoast. I have stayed here several times before in the past. Always a great time here. The restaurant is always delicious too and the wines.

I have stayed at this resort in the past and we had a great experience. But this time was not the same. Our room had dirty towels and robes in the closet, the fireplace did not work and the maintenance person could not fix it and our room was not cleaned in between days so we had to call for towels for the next day. I would expect more considering this is an expensive resort to stay in

While the property is beautiful, the facilities are run down, tired, and in desperate need of repair / refresh. This includes the villa guest room and the pool areas including the locker room amenities in the spa. For example, the pool decking is cracked and deteriorating, the guest room furniture and interior is marred and damaged, and the spa locker room sauna, steam room, and outdoor hot tub are decrepit. It feels as if the owner is milking the property and withholding needed investment. For the rates we paid, we expect an up-to-date physical plant. On the positive side, the spa services (second floor of the facility) are professional and well-run and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

The pool is the perfect relaxation spot. No bad seats and so welcoming. Also the staff.. Always impressed by how we are treated and greeted!! We got upgraded to a villa and not sure I wanna go back to the tower even though it's roomy and still built for a king.

Gorgeous view, well appointed suites, wonderful location, plus the beds were very comfortable and sheets were luxurious. We booked a villa one night which was very private with a balcony overlooking the vineyard. The next night we stayed in the hotel with a gorgeous vineyard view as well for a very reasonable price. We felt like we were in Italy and enjoyed this wine region thoroughly!! This was a great central location to all the wineries and activities in Temecula wine region. The restaurant was perfect for an on-site breakfast and for our special dinner out. Ambiance was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and professional. We also enjoyed the spa and beautiful pool area. Excellent staff, service and amenities. Very enjoyable experience for a couple.

What a great trip! This hotel is right in the middle of SoCal wine country - a perfect location. The villas are so nice, and perfect for a relaxing, low-key weekend getaway. The food was excellent and the spa was so nice, and very accommodating. And then there is the wine - surprisingly good! Altogether a great long weekend.
