Nice location, able to watch fireworks from our room. Walking distance to post office, local transportation, and unique shopping experiences. Court yard and a fireplace for those who can appreciate small wins. Breakfast buffet is nice, you may want to ask if they’ll turn down the heat for making your omelette, food variety…. chef’s kiss.

The bed and coach were were top of class. The bed was much comfortable and I will really be happy coming back to USA to relax on the same. The coach was classic such that I will really miss the comfort that I experienced while being a resident. It was wow!

We spent a quick night at Tempe Mission Palms during a long layover in Phoenix on the way home from a Mexico vacation. Upon arrival, after seeing the hotel layout, amenities, and location, we wished we had booked more nights! Harry's Place is fantastic. The A-mountain view from our window was lovely, and I enjoyed watching the walkers go up the mountain early in the morning. A festival was set up to start that morning, just steps outside the hotel entrance. What fun it would have been to stay at least one more night! We'll plan to visit with this hotel as a destination.

I recently visited the Tempe Mission Palms for a team offsite. This was not our first choice hotel, but due to its proximity to the university and our elite reservation, our usual hotel chain was sold out. In planning for my trip to visit, I learned that there was a free hotel shuttle, which I thought was excellent. This is not an airport hotel so I think it's great that there is a shuttle for free to and from the hotel. I was not able to find much information about the food services available on the website, but that was probably because I was doing my research on my phone. So I called the hotel to make sure they had an espresso machine because my day does not start without an iced latte. The receptionist told me that she did not think that they had an espresso machine and I thought that was ridiculous, but I packed my travel espresso machine anyway. When I arrived, I was able to confirm that in fact, there is no espresso machine in this entire hotel. I asked several times. and the reason why my rating is three stars and not four is because every single person I asked about the espresso machine told me that they have been trying to tell management to buy an espresso machine forever and they still don't have one which tells me that management doesn't listen to their employees. absent the espresso machine situation, the rooms were nice and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable. Everything was clean, the hairdryer was cheap and the shampoo conditioner and soaps were all fairly low budget. I don't really appreciate that because I try to travel light and if hotels have excellent products, that's one less thing for me to have to bring.

BUYER BEWARE!! This hotel adds $28.52 per DAY to your bill for *hospitality fee* when you check out!!! They said this is standard for all their guests. So $85 extra they don't tell you about when you book! I've NEVER have had a hotel do this. What a bad thing to charge after the fact. Buyer beware this hotel rips guests off!
