Thatch Caye Resort

This was my third visit to Thatch Caye, and I continue to enjoy the island vibes. However, this time there were a few changes. Some familiar faces I had looked forward to seeing were no longer there, and there were many new staff members. Unfortunately, I noticed a slight decline in the food quality compared to my previous visits. As for some constructive feedback, the new manager, while enthusiastic, seemed a bit inexperienced and overly confident, which gave off a somewhat insincere vibe. Additionally, I would have appreciated more local music during my stay. It felt as though I was in Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic with the constant Spanish music and staff mostly communicating in Spanish. I preferred working with Luis for activity planning and special requests, as he was always helpful and accommodating. On a positive note, the bartenders and tour guides truly made the trip memorable. I plan to return next year and hope to see some positive changes by then. If you're planning a visit, I highly recommend trying the snorkelling and island hopping – both are incredible experiences that showcase the natural beauty of the area

Incredible experience, exactly what we were looking for - five star hospitality, fun atmosphere, a variety of adventurous things to do, and beautiful blue, warm beaches. We loved eating the fish brought back by the fishing excursions and meeting all the other people staying on the island. Looking forward to returning very soon.

I loved this place, the food was amazing, the staff was so welcoming and friendly, the island is beautiful! The water is pretty, so many great activities to do, or just relax on the beach and enjoy the delicious drinks! The dogs are a great addition. The beds and pillows are the only thing I can fault this place for, they could be upgraded for sure. I love that there was 30 or less guests the entire time, it makes it feel very native.

My Wife and I had the most incredible experience at Thatch Caye. The Hospitality provided by Will and his crew are unmatched! Food was delicious. Transportation easy. Excursions exciting. Not to mention a beautiful environment to come back and relax in. Highly recommend!

Waking up to the view every morning was sublime. The staff was incredibly friendly, efficient and welcoming. Food was delicious and Anivar, Will, Charles, Shakira and Jackson were a delight. Scuba was phenomenal and dive instructor Dapo and his crew were top notch. Listening to the waves and wind during a massage was magical.
