The Leela Kovalam, A Raviz Hotel

All of the staff are very helpful, thoughtful and friendly. The food in the restaurant is excellent with a very good choice of Indian and non-Indian food. The hotel is situated at the top of a cliff and has brilliant views over the Arabian Sea with great sunsets. Both check-in and check-out were very efficient and again friendly. Particularly, Susmita, who helped at check/out. I throughly recommend the hotel.

This is an excellent hotel with outstanding food and customer service. The rooms are a little tired but that really doesn't matter when the everything else is at such a high standard. Particular mention of Naveen Thomas who was assigned to us on arrival for any questions or queries and was both responsive to requests and proactive in helping us settle in and identifying possible activities at the hotel and locally. Overall a great experience set in a stunning location.

Naveen helped us in check-in process. The process was very smooth. He was available 24*7 even after duty, he was there to support. The direct access to beach is the Plus point. Property is very beautiful and staff is very courteous. Ms. Shushmita was very nice with us who checked with overall experience.

We spent 8 wonderful nights staying at the Leela Kovalam resort in a Royal Club Room participating in the 7-day Ayurvedic program. The Leela Kovalam is located on the most beautiful cliffs overlooking the Arabian Sea. You can walk down to the main beach and loads of little shops to browse and lovely little restaurants to eat at if that's your thing. We had the most amazing butler Rahul, who was extremely helpful with absolutely everything, everyday he would check in with us to see if we needed anything and made sure that we always had perfect service, he even got up early on the day we were leaving to make sure we got on the right train safely which was so wonderful. He is a definite asset to the Leela and if you are reading this and stay there, I hope you are blessed enough to have him as your butler. Sumil and Sunirtha from house cleaning serviced our room twice a day and made sure that everything was lovely and fresh. They also helped with our laundry and room snacks which we really appreciated. Senchata, James and Ramesh from the Club Dinning area were amazingly helpful with helping us navigate the Ayurvedic meals which being westerners we sometimes struggled a little with, but they always helped us with a little extra fruit or salad which really was great. The food was lovely and always so fresh straight from the gardens on site. Lastly a huge shout out goes to Athira in the Spa. She gave me 90-minute treatments as part of the Ayurvedic program every day, and they were absolutely WONDERFUL. She was kind and caring always checking that I was comfortable I left feeling absolutely fabulous with not a care in the world it was just gorgeous. All in all my stay at the Leela was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I was a total stressed out mess when I arrived after the death of my husband and I left feeling relaxed and very serene, I am definitely going to incorporate a stay here every year it is so so good!
