The Leela Kovalam, A Raviz Hotel

Not worth the hype and our expectations. The rooms are not very well maintained - needs a real facelift - it was very dusty in several places - they told its to keep the “antique & historical look” but that can be done keeping in mond cleanliness and overall decor . House keeping not that great for replenishing basic things like cookies . Staff is overall really nice especially Naseem , Sajin , Akansha & Sibaprasad - kudos to them . Overall me and family will come back only for people and food not for rooms and value for the money paid - the view is top notch . The checkin area is really hot - me and family were coming from US and for us it was very hot and not enough fans or AC . Was made to sit for more than hr - overall it needs a major renovation effort as it carries the brand name of Leela , we expected much more for the money paid for 3 rooms. Buffet is just exemplary but À la carte not so much and very pricey . Cocktails and wines were very lacking but extremely pricey , those shouldn’t cost an arm and leg . If they can renovate the rooms and exteriors it has capability to be truly world class .

We had a fantastic stay at The Leela Kovalam. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional dinner at Tides Restaurant, where the food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect. The hospitality throughout our stay was outstanding, with special thanks to Susmita, who was a wonderful host and made us feel truly welcomed. The resort itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views and top-notch amenities. The only suggestion we have is to add a bit more shade in the pool to make it more comfortable during the hotter parts of the day. Overall, a memorable experience, and we would love to visit again!

This hotel is incredible. Really enjoyed our time. The staff, the food, the views, the whole experience is amazing. Susmita and everyone we met were wonderful- helpful, warm, friendly... The yoga is also included and really good. Can't wait to come back!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic magical holiday at the Leela Kovalam, from the moment we arrived til our parting we were treated like royalty! We loved the rooms the views the infinity pool and the delicious and varied cuisine.. but most of all the smiling staff , they couldn’t have done more for us . We especially mention Susmita, Nadeem Karan and Kumar

Leela at Kovalam Beach is a breathtaking resort. High on a hill with views of the ocean below. The ambiance and decor honoring the heritage of Kerala was stunning. Rooms are beautiful and well appointed. Food is excellent. High tea was an added bonus
