Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights in October. Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are quite large and very clean. Staff was very attentive. Fantastic spa. Over the top breakfast buffet. Highly recommend this property. It will not disappoint.

The staff at the Tianjin Four Seasons is poorly trained and does not reflect the global brand. Stay at the Ritz Carlton for better service. The check in staff might have previously worked at the international airport immigration desk. They are very mechanical and you are a bother to them. The staff doesn't care whether you have a nice stay or not. The rooms are fine, so long as you are not given a room facing the construction next door. Demand a change. The pool is nice but the changing room is constantly dirty because the pool's lifeguard is also the changing room attendant. The hotel is near the corner of a busy intersection and the Tianjin Isetan department store. The entrance is on an upper level from the street level. If you come and go by car, you will not notice, but once you go on the street level the sidewalk is dirty and packed with individual food vendors.

This being my first time here, I must say when I arrived, it was in a great location first of all and I loved the interior of the lobby as it appeared quite big and beautiful. I appreciated the reception desk and the efficiency with which the staff did my check in. I must however give the extra special praise and recognition to the staff members who all worked that weekend of 24th to 26th March during breakfast time in the "Cielo" restaurant on the 9th floor. Upon entry to the time that I left after eating, my time spent in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Every staff member was pleasant and most accommodating, the restaurant set up and decor looked beautiful, the food presentation was wonderful and I must give an extra recognition to Wendy for taking initiative after I asked a question about pancakes, Bella and Chef Lin for providing me with a beautiful surprise of a great display of mini pancakes and Sarah as well for her service and warmth . All staff provided excellent customer service and I enjoyed my stay immensely . I observed other guests being treated just as well as I was with excellent care and attention by the all staff during breakfast time. Keep up the great work and I will be back soon.

Had one night stay and not sure whether do I want to return. It’s a high rise building locates at downtown. Negotiate traffic during rush hours can be difficult. Nothing much to fault in terms of hardware. Lobby looks spacious and well decorated. Had a high floor room which overlooks a school. However, had to draw curtains as soon as it gets dark because the next building has millions lights on. The bed felt a little bit lumpy, not as comfortable as other Four Seasons I stayed before. What made the stay not so great is the service. Despite front desk being friendly. The protocol of someone came to drop the personal message from GM and a bit welcoming snack at night. The overall service standard cannot match with usually five star hotel, let along the Four Season brand. There was no concierge both arrival and departure. Bath had hair and stains. Room service was overpriced with limited option. Whoever answered in room dining calls was inexperienced and unhelpful. He had to pause service times and asking the chef about simple questions like what is soup of the day. Had to queue for check out out because there was only one person work at the front desk. Coffee was not even warm at breakfast table. Just wondering maybe the purpose of keeping Four Seasons brand is to sell apartment next door, not about hospitality itself.
