Staying at The Shangri-La Toronto was an amazing experience. Not only is it beautiful and elegant and located in a great part of Toronto but their service is stellar. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff could not have been more helpful. Robert, a Manager and Dean Voon, Chief Concierge were consistently asking how they could assist us to make sure out trip was going wonderfully. When Dean Voon arranged for our reservation at Mott 32, their unique and wonderful Chinese restaurant, we were truly treated like honored guests. This wonderful hotel is one of the very top one we have ever stayed at, second only to The Savoy in London; it is hard to top the history of The Savoy but the staff at The Shangri-La are much easier and enjoyable to interact with.

House keeping is great if you can get it, we had to call to get our room cleaned. I'm still not sure if there's supposed to be turn down service in the evening. Not all the pillows are in stock and technology not always working (tv guide, folio, chrging station etc). On the upside lots of flow water, spectacular views, health club is great. It's a very busy hotel, be prepared to wait. The pool area had a lot of kids all the time (maybe an adult hour or 2 in the evening would be nice?). Some other guests felt it was ok for their child to eat in the hot tub and have their boy in the women's change room and steam room. Room service food was small portions for the price and there's a 5$ delivery fee plus 18$ service fee.

Wonderful stay at the Shangri La Toronto hotel. The staff were exceptional and couldn't have done anymore to make my visit relaxed and enjoyable. In particular I would call out the reception staff who were super-helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Toronto!

We had an amazing stay at the Shangri La Toronto for a girls weekend in October. The hotel is beautiful, rooms spacious and service amazing! We had lunch in the lobby while waiting for our room and the food was great. After a night out, we returned to a packed lobby with live music, which was a nice way to end the evening. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We love everything about this hotel! There was an incident that happened during dinner and the manager came over. He didn't even look at the bill, he said your entire dinner is comped...there was four of us. It wasn't about the money but the way he handled the situation.
