About the Hotel

Toronto’s effervescent Yorkville neighborhood is one of the city’s shining jewels. Lined with upscale boutiques, Victorian-era homes, and chic restaurants, the posh enclave still retains some of its artsy vibes—leftover from its past life as a bohemian hub for musicians. Here is where you’ll find Park Hyatt Toronto, surrounded by world-class institutions like the Royal Ontario Museum and University of Toronto-St. George Campus.

Better than the Ritz

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Wonderful stay. Significantly better than the Ritz-Carlton, and at half the cost! I'd recommend getting a high floor room or buying a Bluetooth facemask, as the property does sit on top of the subway line. Aside from that, everything else was phenomenal.

Poor management. Needs to be changed to improve

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Juli Petrone, the Director of Operations, is very rude and unhelpful and has no customer service skills. There’s no General Manager at this hotel right now which explains why it’s such a mess and there’s no accountability for the bad staff at the Director level. The entire hotel is run poorly and the hard product is very mediocre as well. Paper thin walls and doors. Main issue is you can’t believe anything they say. We were told that we would get a certain room type but they ended up just giving it away after confirming with us. They also told us breakfast ends at 11am. We got there at 10:35am but today it closes at 10:30am so we can’t be sat. Just absolutely ridiculous for a “luxury” hotel…

Good place to stay in Yorkville

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Excellent hotel in a great location in Yorkville. Walking distance to the subway, and although on a busy street, the rooms are well-insulated and I didn't hear any noise from the street. There was some minor housekeeping issues with the room, but nothing that forced me to call the front desk or anything like that, just a visible layer of dust on some fixtures in the room, which I find unacceptable at this price point. As well, there was a noticeable draft by the window when the drapes were open. Otherwise, the room was huge, the shower was amazing, and the bed was comfortable.

Not Nust A Hotel But One With Soul

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

A hotel with not just Archtect and bulding beauty but a soul with genuine staff in all aspects. Julia assistant front office manager truly cares and goes above and beyond each visit. Sushant phenomenal. Matt valet. Concierge, and everyone is just amazing. My go to for Toronto always.

Wonderful stay.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Good location. Great amenities thoughtfully chosen. Modern and fresh ambience throughout. The food is good. Although only one restaurant and one bar, the restaurant has a good selection and the bar is spectacular. Leans more into the quality over quantity. Feels like more like a personalized boutique hotel.
