Toronto’s effervescent Yorkville neighborhood is one of the city’s shining jewels. Lined with upscale boutiques, Victorian-era homes, and chic restaurants, the posh enclave still retains some of its artsy vibes—leftover from its past life as a bohemian hub for musicians. Here is where you’ll find Park Hyatt Toronto, surrounded by world-class institutions like the Royal Ontario Museum and University of Toronto-St. George Campus.

This was our third annual thanksgiving escape to the Park Hyatt. No cooking, cleaning or turkey for the week. We enjoy the personal attention from staff and all the pampering we receive every time we visit. We enjoy the large room amenities including the tub, king size bed and views from the upper floors. The food options are outstanding and our kids love the full room service options. Our only comment would be we get too much food for breakfast! That said we always ask for a mini-fridge which helps with leftovers. From the time we arrive and greeted at the driveway to our departure the service is unmatched and personal. You can’t beat the location at the heart of shopping options along Bloor street as well as restaurants, museums nearby also. We love everything about the park Hyatt Toronto and we’ll be back next year. We highly recommend!

The Park Hyatt Toronto is an outstanding city hotel. Wonderfully renovated rooms, very friendly staff, top gym and rooftop bar, perfectly located next to Yorkville and Bloor Street for shopping and dining. I have stayed at many Park Hyatts (Tokyo, Zurich, Chicago, Vienna, Sydney, etc.), and Toronto is one of my favorites.

So, the reason we / I like to stay at Luxury and / or 5-star hotels is because they are a reward for a lifetime of hard work. I like the way the best hotels make me feel special, like addressing me as Mr. GoGoBear, I like the way the staff works at exceeding my expectations. I like how staying at a luxury property makes me feel special. Except when it doesn’t. The benchmark for this experience is staying at a Four Seasons. Usually. But my last stay at a Four Seasons came up short of delivering the specialness. We’ve stayed at Langham properties a few times, and on occasion have been blown away…but my last stay at a Langham…I missed that loving feeling. Maybe I expect too much? It was the little annoying things during my stay at the Park Hyatt Toronto. • The kerfuffle with handling my valet parking before checking in (they would later “lose” my car because it in fact had not been registered properly in their valet parking app…then later my checkout was delayed because I hadn’t been charged for parking and someone noticed). • The check in process being “clunky”….nothing went wrong, but it start stop oh wait, let me check to make sure…oh you are Amex Plat and you want an upgrade? Let me check...we have a room, but it is near the elevator… • Elevator out – it happens. But when I got off the elevator on my floor I was greeted by carts and boxes and what have you…presumably because the staff was having to scramble with their “service elevator” being out. The room was fine. Nice even. Not the décor I would have chosen, but again that’s nobody’s fault. But the biggest thing was when I went to take a shower the next day and couldn’t figure out how the shower controls worked. Does that make me dense? Maybe…particularly after the maintenance staff guy came up to show me how it worked. But why were 2 different people at the front desk unable to explain to me how the shower controls worked, and why did I have to wait 30 minutes for the maintenance staff guy to arrive? I ended up being late to my dinner commitment. Now, had I got some sort of great deal for my two-night stay, my attitude would be like **shrug**. But my stay was more than USD$400 per night. At those rates, I’m expecting better. Or maybe I am expecting too much?

Upgraded to a corner suite and it was spacious and luxe. I used my WOH suite upgrade rewards and it was a Wow! We were attending the Eras Tour and there was much excitement at the hotel with all the guests checking in for the concert. It’s a beautiful property and the staff was warm and helpful. Breakfast at Joni’s was wonderful and we enjoyed the rooftop lounge, The Writer’s Room with its gorgeous views of the city. Park Hyatt Toronto is a 5 star property ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
