Overall stay was great ! The location of this hotel right in the middle of the national park of Torres Del Paine is fantastic. The food received was so delicious and top class ! The SPA area is fabulous with nice Sauna’s and pool ! Now, the downside was really the service received wasn’t up to the level it should have been. When Paying over 1K $ per night, obviously you will be expecting to receive astonishing service ! The check-in process was a disaster, first we had to wait as the room wasn’t ready (which was fine), but they told us the room will be with separate beds when it wasn’t the case, then, when entering the room on the fourth floor just under the roof, inside the room, the temperature was crazy hot - it felt like a Sauna, obviously this doesn’t give you a great starting experience ! For summertime, you can’t keeep the roomo as hot as it was, you need to find better air cooling solution to cool down the room… on top of that, we had all-inclusive F&B during our stay, but despite that, we felt that whenever signing the bills of our consumptions, the personal were kind of always trying to point out that we should tips them which is not really an enjoyable experience….

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The location, staff, customer service, dining, cocktails, rooms, comfort…100% satisfied! We were in a superior room with a view of the pasture and mountains…stunning!!! We would totally recommend this hotel!

This hotel is fantastic I wish I could move in. The location is perfect for exploring TdP for day hikes if you can’t do one of the treks. The hotel is immaculate from top to bottom. The rooms are gorgeous. We got the Mountain View and it was jaw dropping every morning. There are horses roaming the gorgeous property which is magical and a few dogs and puppies too. Breakfast was fantastic and we had dinner there every night at the bar because we got back late from the national parks and it was always delicious, especially the lamb shank and picahna steaks and Chilean potatoes. The staff is all fantastic and very helpful. You can organize tours through the Massif at the hotel which we didn’t do because we hiked on our own but they offer boat tours to the grey glacier which looked like a good way to spend a break day. It’s worth the money especially to be close to the national parks. Everything here is amazing we absolutely loved it

This was my husband and my second stay at Rio Serrano Hotel and this time we visited with our 20 something year old children who loved it as much as we did. We again hiked with our favorite guide Olafo and also enjoyed the other wonderful guides on our hikes and other excursions while at Rio Serrano. The guides, staff, food and drink are all great. Our only complaint is the much more limited excursion options (particularly hiking) since the introduction of “the Massif”, which now manages reservations for the excursions. When we stayed at Rio Serrano in January 2022 we had many more options. I’m not sure my husband and I would return again to Rio Serrano because of those limited options. But if this will be your first trip to Torres Del Paine, we highly recommend Rio Serrano Hotel.

The hotel is good but falls very short when compared to other hotels that also charge $1,500 usd a night around the world, what makes it a bit pretentious. Rooms are ok but dont have central A/C or heating what makes them hot in the summer. The hotel provides a noisy fan to deal with that but again, it is not what one would expect when paying over 1,000 usd a night. The food in the restaurant is good but they make you sign a bill even though its all inclusive. It seems safe to assume that they do it so you perceive “a lot of value” in their included overcharged food. The service is what falls short, waiters dont seem to be well trained and most people have to ask several times for food and drinks, and usually takes a long time. Again, not what you would expect paying these amounts. Rooms have no TV with the pretext that people here must enjoy the surroundings and “disconnect”, I wish the hotel did not try to make my decissions as to why I am here and what should I be doing, after a long day hiking I might as well just lay down in bed and watch TV. The hotel is 1:30 away from the entrance that goes to Base Torres, which is very similar to the time it would take to get there from Puerto Natales. My recommendation? Stay in Puerto Natales, it will cost way less and you will have many more options to eat and drink.
