I have been all over the world- and have stayed at some great place and hands down Rio Serrano was the best overall lodging experience that I have had. Not to repeat what was said before- everything was perfect. The Food( included breakfast buffet amazing) and the dinner was excellent and given no other local options-- priced reasonably while often these types of places can be expensive and lousy. 6 Stars for the food- and do not miss the complimentary Lamb BBQ- u will see why it is so unique . The California King Super comfy-- and view from the hotel - best ever. We had a couples massage which was amazing- reasonable and even included champagne and chocolates. Pool refreshing!! Wife is great. Finally-- Le Masif was an amazing tour operator. I did the Base Towers Hike while my wife did the Lookout/Scenery tour- She got to see a Puma during the day- so rare. Great staff. Make sure to ask for Madi/Mati- to be your guide.. A great treat was at the end of the exhausting 10 hour tour- they had coolers of all types of drinks, food, deserts waiting- and there were only 2 of us!!! Finally- only 3 minutes from the most amazing Park- TDP- in the world. and final word-- given all it provides and where it is located-- prices are amazing..... I will have reviews of that in other posts on TA..

Staying at this hotel has been a wonderful and luxurious experience and one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. We were given a warm welcome throughout our time here with chocolates, welcome drinks and tasting sessions, plus a room upgrade. We felt thoroughly spoilt! The hotel itself is gorgeous, pristine and tasteful with stylish Nordic and Patagonian style furnishings. The view from the room was spectacular and the hotel was designed for guests to be able to sot in front of the beautiful views of the massif. I would go back again and again! Loved it! Don’t hesitate to book this fabulous hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel in convenient setting. This is a remote area and they have everything you need at the hotel. The restaurant options were good. The staff were unbelievably nice. I highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Torres Del Paine.

My husband and I stayed at the Rio for 4 nights. Rented a car and drove from Puerto Natales, super easy and straight forward. Roads are not always paced so drive slower than what you are used to. We came upon jack rabbits, birds of prey, cows, and guanacos while driving in addition to loose rocks. Hotel property is beautiful, decor is earthy and clean, sitting areas to enjoy the views were numerous and very comfortable. Our room had mountain views which we thoroughly enjoyed waking up to and going to sleep to- every moment of each day provided a different views of the mountains. Food, we tried almost everything off the bar menu and restaurant menu, was excellent. Creative, tasty, and well priced. Cocktails and beer selections were great too- enjoyed their caladate sours daily and they were GREAT! Staff service was top notch, personable, humorous, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast buffet is ample and diverse. Spa services were incredible. Location is very close to southern park entrance and took us only 15-20min to Hotel Grey (they have the best coffee in the park), 25min to hikes between the lakes, and a little over an hour to Hotel Torres where we parked to do the Base Towers hike. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

This place is unreal! The interior design of the hotel is so in tune with the surroundings and the history of the region! Loved the historic artifacts on display. They serve local food and the restaurant chef is a world class👌every meal is gourmet! The views of the mountains are incredible from every corner inside and out! Spa area with the warm pool and sauna is a must, especially after hiking all day!And the staff is so welcoming and polite even when don’t speak well enough English!Loved every minute there!
