Anantara Sahara Tozeur Resort & Villas

Booked this on recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed! A very special stay in a stunning location. We appreciated the complimentary upgrade due to a special celebration but due to some communication issues they were not aware of this at check in. After it was sorted the stay was truly magical. One issue with pillows as we never got the ones we wanted and ended up getting some cushions instead.

We left Anantara Tozeur hotel with a sweet serenity sensation refreshed and ready for our next stop Douz. Till the very last minute the staff exceeded our expectations. Giving us water bottles before leaving the hotel, making sure we were warm after mentioning that kids are feeling cold, were very thoughtful small gestures that made us feel very welcomed and very well looked after. Thank you Anantara team for ending our year on a positive note and starting the new year with a great and diligent service, appetising brunch and a cosy intimate Desert atmosphere worthy of this beautiful country and its people.

Excellent stay at the hotel. The service is impeccable. The room is pretty big. The food is very fresh with a wide variety of salads. They accompdate gluten free diet and celiac poeple. A special thank you to the Chef . Thank you Rabaa from the reception and Walid at the Sarab restaurant.

I don’t even know where to begin because my experience at Anantara Tozeur was truly from another planet. Everything about this place is magical, and the incredible staff made it all the more unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, everyone—and I mean literally everyone—was beyond amazing. At the reception, Mohamed, Aziz, Selim, Roua, and Dorsaf welcomed me with warmth and professionalism. The concierge team, including Nizar, Ahmed, and Towefiq, were always there to assist and ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. At the spa, Kazem, Souad, Nisrine, and Kalthoum created such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. A special shoutout to driver, Nabil, who was incredibly kind and accommodating, and Dally, the talented graphic designer who made my photoshoot so memorable. Dally is the sweetest person, and I now have pictures that will always remind me of the beauty of this place. To everyone at the restaurant (I’m so sorry I don’t know all your names!), thank you for your exceptional service and genuine hospitality. To anyone I missed, I want to say this: you were all amazing, and your friendliness never felt intrusive but always sincere. I came as a stranger and left as a friend. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. The staff truly elevated my stay to a whole new level. Other Anantara hotels have a lot to live up to because the standard here is unparalleled. Now about the property itself—it’s pure heaven. The serenity, the breathtaking architecture, the luxurious rooms, and those magical sunrises and sunsets…everything is perfection. I’m already looking forward to returning as soon as I get the chance. Thank you, Anantara Tozeur, for an unforgettable experience!

Stayed here a couple of nights, and my word we were amazed by every single aspect. From service to room to the food. Top quality! The staff goes out of their way to ensure we are comfortable. We really appreciated this and this felt genuine! Only downside was the feeling we had when we checked out. Life will no longer be the same after you’ve experienced the hospitality and serenity of Anantara Sahara! I wish we could’ve stayed there for much much longer! Definitely going back. Almost don’t want to recommend this to others and keep it as a secret about our experience. But this is too good to not share with the community. If you are Tozeur or Douz, this resort is a no-brainer choice!
