Kovay is aka Vallarta Gardens. See all the posts on VG and Kovay that confirm they are SCAM artists bilking US citizens out of thousands of dollars. They work with AMS (Allianz Marketing Strategies) to steal your money. AMS will stop returning your calls and emails. VG (Kovay) Membership Services will say they cannot assist as AMS is a separate company. If you are a business person, would you contract with a company that does not follow through on written contracts? Just saying. These people are in the business of timeshare SCAMS. If you use your VG timeshare and enjoy the property, great. We also had difficulty trying to book weeks we wanted in the property we purchased (1BR Penthouse).

Beware ! My wife and I went to Kova garden's . We were promised and sent pictures of the room with a pool we were supposed to be staying in. We arrived and they told us there were know rooms available ant that we would have to stay st a 1 star hotel in the woods .we stayed 1 night went to the presentation and when we did not purchase a time share they said we had to go back to the 1 star hotel for the next 4 days . We left and went to the Conrad Hilton it is a great place . I reached out to receive the gifts I was promised and they said that I broke the contract by not stay at the 1 star hotel in the woods . Such a scam ! Do your self a favor and hang up on them .

My 99-year-old dad gave his credit card info to some telemarketer who phoned him in Canada for a great vacation deal, or so he thought. You all know these companies change name every year or so, and then phone you back asking for a reinstatement fee. Anyway, my girlfriend and I ended up here, and the property is BEAUTIFUL. The studio room is huge and has what you need. The gardens are amazing and incredibly well maintained. If you're lucky you'll see an iguana, or join him for a swim in the pool. We were accosted with the dreaded timeshare presentation the next day, far too early. The 90 minute talk lasted an excruciating 3 hrs 56 minutes. It is some type of interval ownership, the minimum amount offered being 4 weeks for an astonishingly high price I have promptly forgotten. Seriously? The whole presentation and business model seemed very sketchy to me, and I would never do business with these folks. Don't even ask about the Panama-based GIC! Read other reviews. There seem to be five levels of management here: 1. Marketing company who phoned - near scam. 2. Timeshare salespeople - just not professional, sketchy, zero comfidence from me. 3. The builder, raising money for construction - did not interact, but the buildings are superb. 4. The company that manages your ownership, and will rent out your property for you. Apparently this company is completely inapt and is terrible at communicating with the hotel itself. The money they promised to send you back does not come and you don't get your properties rented out. Read the other reviews for information on this as I don't have first-hand experience myself but I spoke to plenty people around the pool who did and they were not happy. 5. The hotel management and staff. 5 out of 5 fabulous! We were treated incredibly well by everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the roommates to the guys on the beach and a big shout out goes to our favorite bartender Hector who always looked after us, even if his bar kept running out of Bailey's. The restaurant also kept running out of food and we ate pear salad every night because they didn't have much else. When they did have food however it was really quite delicious! Hahaha If you are looking for a quiet vacation where you will not be disturbed and all you want to do is hang out in the hotel with absolutely zero entertainment and total peace and quiet this is the place for you. It's not the place for me and my girlfriend because we like to do things and there is not a lot to do here. But if you don't like doing a lot of stuff you will love it here. Just don't buy into it!

My wife and I absolutely love Kovay Gardens! Our accommodations were fantastic—spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We couldn’t get enough of the stunning surroundings, the delicious food at the on-site restaurants, and the easy access to multiple pools. The landscape here is unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and we especially enjoyed swimming in the bay. While the property is peaceful and tranquil, there’s so much to explore nearby. We walked to the marina every day for exercise, and ate in La Cruz several times. We also ventured out to Puerta Vallarta for a few off-site meals. As workout enthusiasts, we appreciated the well-equipped gym, which offered everything we needed, from weightlifting to elliptical machines. A wonderful bonus for us was connecting with fellow guests at the pool, and we even developed a few friendships during our stay. The staff were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always making us feel like royalty. We truly felt pampered throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway to relax and recharge, we highly recommend Kovay Gardens. It’s an unforgettable experience!

SCAM! Do not invest in this property. Capital Marketing DS and Kovay Gardens is a SCAM! We were told that we would receive payment for our unused weeks, but they have put off the date and not paid anything to us. It is not an investment. It is a SCAM
