The resort was gorgeous to begin with. Check in only took a few minutes and the room keys were awesome, they even had smaller keys for kids! The resort was very kid friendly. The kids club was a hit! They even have a movie theater for rainy days. The ladies at the kids club were very kind and the activities were amazing! The kids made piñatas and parrots, there was a treasure hunt on the beach and pool games every day. The room was breathtaking and the balcony was ocean front, the shower and tub were awesome and so relaxing! The service was impeccable, we were serviced twice a day, housekeeping and turn-down service. As diamond members, they gave us a complementary Beach bag that said Conrad Tulum and housekeeping left us beautiful handmade pipe cleaner souvenirs. The resort was huge and gorgeous. They had golf carts as an option to take around the resort if you didn’t want to walk. The resort was very open, and gave a very big jungle vibe. We saw almost zero bugs and the only time we saw wildlife was when we took walks. The beach was amazing by casa three. There were lifeguards on duty at almost every pool and the beach. A car from Conrad came to pick us up from the Cancun Airport and the car was very clean and the driver stopped to get us waters. The drove from the Airport was close to two hours, but I would most definitely recommend getting a car from the resort to come pick you up. The restaurants on the resort were pretty good. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. The servers were very nice and gave their honest opinion on what they recommend to order on the menu. The air conditioning in the restaurants was a little chilly, but you could also choose to sit outside in the beautiful weather.

7 Nights over NYE Holiday. Gorgeous property, starting with the lobby and bar. The beach is fantastic- secluded, and great swimming. We had two rooms for a family of 4 (basic rooms) and the layout and spacing are A+. Great bedding and amenities. Enough room on back patio for 4 adults to have drinks. The hotel was at 100% over NYE and this did put a strain on the whole operation. Still, the staff always had a smile and tried to accommodate. Things quieted down a few days later and the staff was noticeably more relaxed. We tried all of the restaurants and felt the Japanese (sushi) was the highlight, but everything tasted great. The breakfast restaurant did become busy around 9 am and there was competition for outdoor tables, but if you come 30 minutes earlier or later there was always a table. Tania served us during our NYE dinner and again helped us at breakfast- her smile and service are fantastic. Also Arcangel (the "bear") greeted us by name at breakfast and always warmly welcomed us. Carlos at the beach helped us with towels and made sure everything was taken care of during the day. Finally, Ricardo and the housekeeping staff are the true superstars! Their service is impeccable and they left funny keepsakes for us each night. One small suggestion for management- We think the beach could use more shade options (perhaps more coconut leaf umbrellas).

It's a resort with immense potential, but its shortcomings in service detract from the luxury experience it aspires to offer. If you’re considering a visit, aim for off-peak seasons when the property’s charms are more likely to shine through. Otherwise, the experience may leave you questioning the steep cost of your stay.

Excellent 4 day 4 night experience! Very clean everywhere I went plus friendly smiling staff throughout the complex. In particular the breakfast option with three rooms of food to choose from was a nice way to start each day. I want to mention our server Mauricio who we were fortunate to have more than once. Thank you Mauricio for the excellent attention and friendly advice on local attractions!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE GIFT SHOP! I bought a pair of flip flops from the shop, and they gave me 2 right shoes. Once I realized, I took them back to get the correct one. They refused, saying there were no returns or exchanges?! What? I insisted on speaking to a manager, and was told by said manager the same thing. No store credit, no exchanges. This is just wrong in every way!
