Trump Turnberry

I was taken here as a surprise for my birthday at the beginning of December. I had always wanted to go but never got round to it. From the second you arrive you know that you are going to be well looked after. The building is so impressive and the drive up to the hotel is an experience on its own. The ground and facilities are immaculate, everything you would expect for a 5 star resort. Parking was super easy and the check in experience was on point, everything single member of staff we encountered was an absolute credit to the place. I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels across the world as part of my job and it’s the staff that make it a truly magical experience. We were helped to our room by one of the door men, shown the room and features and made sure we were happy with the room. The rooms were immaculate, so clean and tastefully decorated with all the necessary items on what to see and do during your stay. Large TV, mini bar, kettle, iron, large closet, safe, toiletries etc all provided. Information of restaurants and spa opening times were out of date on the TV, but the website is up to date all small glitch that has probably just been overlooked. Bed was super comfy. Loads of information on the activity’s available which is second to none on my next visit I will be making use of these especially the clay shooting and archery. The spa was fantastic, plenty of things to do and plenty of space for all guests, even loved the little touches of being able to order pool snacks and drinks. (Hot tub wasn’t working during our stay but again not a huge disappointment , could have done with some signage) the relaxation room and aromatherapy shower was unreal. On our way back to the room in the evening our room was turned down for the evening which was a beautiful touch, little touches by the house keeping team such as wrapping the charging cables in trump branded cable ties, the glasses sat on the bedside tables, blinds drawn and bathroom set up were just delightful. Went for dinner at Duel in the Sun as the menu suited us better than the 1906 restaurant. The staff and the food were absolutely phenomenal, the little touches on the table such as our name and the birthday wishes were just such a personal touch. ( should keep the restaurant open till 7pm at the duel just for guests who want a less formal dining experience) we were taken back to the main hotel and had a few drinks in the lobby which was again just perfect with the staff being super attentive and present. Made our way back to the spa until 9.30pm before heading back to the room. Had a wonderful nights sleep so peaceful. Breakfast was perfect a little confusing around the prices so wasn’t sure it was included and thought that we had to order off the menu however spoke to one of the waitress's who explained we could order what ever we want to suit our taste and dietary requirement. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING the quality of the items you could tell that it was only the best and locally sourced ingredients. The service from your colleagues was again exceptional and the breakfast manager always checked everything was ok and spoke with all guests during their breakfast a lovely personal touch. I can honestly say we were both completely blown away by the level of service all of your team gave both os us and our stay was just exceptional. We have booked to visit two more times in the next few months that’s how impressed we were. Worth every single penny and more. I have not stopped raving about it to friends and family. If anyone is looking to really spoil a loved one or just as a little treat getaway this really is the place to go you will not be disappointed. My partner lives in Southeast Scotland and very sadly her father passed away, so she was spending time with family. To break the routine I booked a weekend to stay at Trump Turnberry. I enrolled for a Trump card and booked a suite. Our experience was sublime . The suite was extremely well equipped. The decor was entirely appropriate for this classic hotel built in 1906. We had meals in our room, experienced the brilliant 1906 restaurant and its very high-quality fixed price menu. Breakfast was full of wonderful choices - although the service was slow for which there was a personal apology from the breakfast manager. There is no question that this hotel is one of the finest in the UK. Donald Trump and his team have enhanced it and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone, including non-golfers like myself.

Hi I booked two rooms for a family wedding on 23/11/24 , we have stayed here quite a few times over the years and the first class service you receive has never wained , staff are brilliant and can’t do enough for you , nothing is a problem and the rooms are very luxurious , actually it that’s good we’re back tomorrow for an overnight stay.

I recently went to the Christmas Sunday brunch at turnberry hotel. The waitress spilled milk over myself and my disabled father. Lack of help from staff or management. The disabled toilets where locked and no information was provided. Staff eventually told me I had to go to the other disabled facilities that was a fair walk away from the restaurant. Food was lacking this year, no selection for children. Greatly disappointed! Especially for the price. Would not return with my family.

Just outstanding world class hotel. We stayed over for the Christmas Ball event. The hotel is truly 5star and the team are amazing. Food excellent and great value for money all round. Best hotel in UK we have stayed in. We were given a free upgrade and you get a special price for accommodation if at the event.
