Trump Turnberry

Had a lovely night stay with my wife,staff were all very attentive,however we did have a power cut in peak time..But this was understandable due to the recent storm the country had.. Only negative was on checkout when I presented my monetary vouchers I had an underspend of over £8.00 ? The underspend could not be refunded and Staff recommended to purchase 2 x coffees.. To my disappointment I was then presented with a bill of approx £2.50 for the balance of the coffees..

Took my mother out for her lunch at Trump Turnberry and arrived at 13:55 and was seated shortly. Once seated we waited 25 minutes to be served (we had to grab someone’s attention). The order was made for a lot of tea, a bowl of soup and a sandwich. 15 minutes later the tea was no where in sight so we alerted the staff and for another 10 minutes went by nothing was done about it. Everyone else was being served though! At this point we had enough and left. Throughout most of the experience the staff kept walking past us whenever we wanted to get their attention and they were wandering about the room doing nothing. It was as if we were invisible. It was our first time at Trump Turnberry and as a local I’m appalled at the service at Trump Turnberry and will not be returning.

This was our first time staying at this hotel, and it certainly won’t be our last! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Jim, who made us feel incredibly welcome. He was absolutely wonderful—extremely helpful and thoughtful. As someone who uses a wheelchair, I truly appreciated how Jim went above and beyond. He took care of our luggage, escorted us inside, and even parked our car for us. His kindness and attentiveness made all the difference, and he’s truly an asset to your team. The room and bathroom were beautiful—clean, spacious, and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and pleasant stay. Every member of the staff we interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to all tastes. It was a perfect start to the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable!

Our third time at this hotel, but our first time with our 2 dogs. The level of staff service is 2nd to none and so dog friendly. From the minute we were greeted at the door to when we left, we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble, and the upgrade to a junior suite was just the icing on the cake.

The standards are slipping , no courtesy car service, the service in the bars appalling and the party night food dreadful . They always encourage you to use your Trump Privilege card and promise you the points going towards your account which you constantly need to push for , last year it took a full month to rectify this is the second year this has happened and I’m still trying to get this resolved despite our visit being on the 07/12/2024 , the communication , feedback and ownership are appalling . It just seems the quality service and poor communication is dragging this hotel down to a 4 star hotel, it has lost its magic . An overall poor performance from Trump Turnbury.
