My husband and I stayed at the Leela Palace from January 1 to 3, 2025. Our stay was luxurious and very comfortable. The entire staff was very courteous and accommodating. Shashank who was our butler was very attentive to our requests and did an excellent job. We highly recommend the Palace!

Divyansh was fantastic. Gave me an amazing stretch and massage. The gym facility and pool are both world class. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The staff are all very professional and courteous. The restaurant is also as good as you can ever hope for anywhere in the world.

First the good points This hotel was lovely and very restful. Take a boat ride from the pier to get to the hotel’s dock. Then, step through the lovely reception area and up to the room. The room was gorgeous and had a comfortable bed and a beautiful sitting area with windows that opened to the views over the lake. There was a separate bath in a side room, a large dressing area with plenty of storage space and room to spread out the suitcases – which is an absolute luxury when you are touring around and living out of your case. The large shower room had a powerful shower and there was a separate w.c. and another area with wash basins. Overall, the room was amazing. The bar offered a comfortable seating area and great service and so did the Indian restaurant outside. Outside, the gardens were beautiful and there was a large pool with comfortable sun beds. Bad points [which could give a 3 star review] The service around the pool was slow and the food took a long time to arrive. When you have been on a trip and come back to the hotel hungry, it is not good to have to wait around for the food and drinks. The concierge’s advice on sightseeing was very poor and the hotel management need to improve this aspect of the service. We were also disappointed with the ‘tour of the palace’ which seemed perfunctory at best. There were squirrels on the pre-laid table at breakfast and, even though we pointed this out, the cutlery and plates were not changed. This is unhygienic. Overall, the hotel needs to brush up on service, table hygiene and speed of food and drinks availability around the pool.

Dining at Sheesh Mahal was a fantastic experience, and the spacious rooms added to the luxury. Special thanks to our butler Tejveer, who provided exceptional service and was always available on WhatsApp all the time for every request. Coming back again, very soon.
