I had a very good experience at the hotel. The staff were extremely courteous and efficient. Enjoyed the cultural activities. The lake and the palace made it a magical experience. Had a good selection of food. Would highly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you very much.

I had a Royal Experience this february at Taj Lake Palace Udaipur. From the boat ride to the hotel to the warm welcome under the large royal umbrella, greeted by traditional Rajasthani musicians, showered with rose petals, it was no less than a fairy tale. The upgraded room facing the lake was absolutely beautiful. Every detail in the decor and furniture paid tribute to art and history of Rajasthan. I was mesmerized. With my husband and kids not able to join me, the staffs at Taj ensured I was truly cared for at all times. The diversity in breakfast from poha upma to my favorite stuffed paratha, made it extra special for me. The entire team from Harsh to Disha, Japbinder, Gaurav, Naman, Kavita, Bhagwan, Dinesh, Man Sign, were so lovely and accommodating, I can’t say enough amazing things about them. I might mis-spell, Qresh from the breakfast hall was extremely sweet to anything I had liked to eat. Each one of them always made sure I had everything I needed and always spoke to me with a genuine gesture like I am the only guest, inspite of having some of the busiest days. I would always recommend Disha as the palace official photographer, her talent and humility she has, I was very impressed with. I can imagine each of them rising very high in their career with the professionalism and care they showed to their guests. As I go back to Texas to my kids, I'm going to miss my wonderful stay at Taj Lake Palace. But I'm coming back for sure with my kids to show what mommy was raving about. Breathtaking experience in an oasis of luxury. If pocket permits, please experience this beauty once in a lifetime. Food, room service, reception everything was on point and excellent. Each corner of the room and the palace is beautiful.

Everywhere we looked inside the hotel opened up a vista to something beautiful, be it a view from the restaurant, the architecture, furnishing, a painting or an object. However our experience was made truly memorable by the quality of your staff. We would like to highlight Harsh Vardhan Tripathi for his very warm welcome, his efficiency and his utmost kindness towards us throughout our stay. He helped us in so many ways providing sound advice on Udaipur, arranging for us to see the movie Octopussy in our room, patiently taking many photos for us and finding David's lost spectacles. We felt that he genuinely cared about us and can imagine him rising very high in his career with you. It is impossible to overstate just how much we appreciated Harsh. David needs to eat gluten free and Maria cannot tolerate highly spiced food so our interactions with Sous Chef Babu Singh Bhati were important. Babu ensured the provision of tasty gluten free breakfast items and meals for David, whilst preparing delicious plainer meals for Maria. We are grateful that he put together enjoyable meals that were not even listed on the a la carte menu for Maria. Restaurant Manager Mahendra Vaishnav also looked after us particularly well, guiding our menu choices and ensuring that we were provided with the very best service in your Indian specialty restaurant. Manesh from your main restaurant also deserves a mention, we saw him most days and he ensured that we were made comfortable and had all that we needed. In addition to the stunning location, courtesy of your people and beauty of the hotel itself were the imaginative experiences which elevated our enjoyment of Taj Lake Palace hotel. We loved being shaded by a magnificent parasol held by a charming, stylishly dressed gentleman on arrival, whilst also being serenaded by musicians and showered with rose petals by welcoming staff. We enjoyed learning about the history of the hotel during a guided tour and seeing talented traditional dancers from the comfort of a hotel courtyard. We were impressed by the convenience and 24 hour availability of a boat to take us to and from the hotel whenever we wanted. Never once did we have to wait! Our sunset boat ride was truly unforgettable. Last but not least we benefited from the jewellery shop in the hotel lobby, we felt that we could trust the authenticity of an exquisite pendant and chain bought as a momenta of our time at Taj Lake Palace.
