Our visit was disappointing given the resort pricing that this property demands. Our room was New York small. The room was no better than an average business hotel, and was outdated on top of that. It took forever for hot water for the shower. Don’t expect to get much sleep either. The shade in our room did not block light from the street. Drunks heading back to their hotel on the street below woke us up and then they kept it up when they entered the hallways.of our hotel. Then there was the garbage pickup at 7:15 AM on a Saturday that was an unwanted wake-up call. We left early on our last day because we couldn’t sleep much for two days. Vail is a resort town, and you can expect to pay for that. But I have experienced much better from other resort hotels. These guys can’t rest on their location and must up their game.

Worn down rooms Housekeeping every other day ????? Why High prices (450$ a night for a less than Hampton inn) Unfriendly front staff Parking 50 $ a day ( there is no other parking so it is mandatory) Bar staff is awful at the Cucina unfriendly, mad does not want to serve Good location but definitely find something else

there are better places to stay in vail, do not go, with the exception of location( front and Main) to pay $1200/night for every other day room service and an old run down hotel, there are better options. the staff was nice and morning breakfast was acceptable.

I have stayed at Lodge at Vail on approximately 5 different occasions. Each time, I say that I won’t return but do because of the proximity to Gondola One. This trip is the absolute last time I will stay here given how tired and overpriced the property is. Everywhere we went on the property something was broken: outdoor hot tub, spa showers and spa hot tub, coffee maker in our room. Even the morning coffee they put out is gone within 30 minutes and never refilled. Given that there is no grab and go breakfast option at Cucina, it is a hassle before heading out for a day of skiing to find something quick to eat on property. Additionally, this is the second year in a row that we have struggled to have hot water in our room. And, our room was tiny, horribly appointed and directly under Elways where we listened to kitchen noise every night. Despite calling management, on several issues, no one ever responded. With so many good options in Vail Village, this hotel should be overlooked until Vail Resorts gives it much needed and overdo rehaul.
