I loved this resort. The location is amazing. The staff was wonderful. The cookies and NYT and cider in the lobby were wonderful touches. The steaming hot pool was a treat after a long day of skiing. The gym was perfect and my room was just the right price and size for me. I WILL BE BACK!

Amazing hotel. Great hospitality. Very well located. They have valet parking which is amazing. You can just go out and be right on the town. Loved the rooms. Great bathroom as well. They can take care of your luggage. Simply a great place to stay with family or friends.

Chef Mark at The Lodge truly hooked us up! He went above and beyond, cooking the most incredible steak we’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection. His kindness and attention to detail made our experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

Arrived super late because of road conditions but called ahead that I will be checking in after 3am. No problem at all. Receptionist was very friendly but when I went to my room, I was absolutely baffled that my room didn’t have a desk. I was here on a work trip and it was booked via my corporate travel agency marked as a business trip. Why is there not a desk in a hotel room? Also no power outlets on the night stand.

Our visit was disappointing given the resort pricing that this property demands. Our room was New York small. The room was no better than an average business hotel, and was outdated on top of that. It took forever for hot water for the shower. Don’t expect to get much sleep either. The shade in our room did not block light from the street. Drunks heading back to their hotel on the street below woke us up and then they kept it up when they entered the hallways.of our hotel. Then there was the garbage pickup at 7:15 AM on a Saturday that was an unwanted wake-up call. We left early on our last day because we couldn’t sleep much for two days. Vail is a resort town, and you can expect to pay for that. But I have experienced much better from other resort hotels. These guys can’t rest on their location and must up their game.
