Reviews for The Westin Valencia

A Valencian Gem

We had a two-night stay at the Westin to celebrate our wedding anniversary & from start to finish, the experience was first class. During the check-in process, we were chatting with the lovely lady at the desk & mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary. After a speedy check-in process, we quickly got changed & headed out to explore the city. Upon returning to our room, we were greeted by a complimentary bottle of fizz & a tray of macaroons – a classy touch! That set the tone for the rest of our stay & throughout the whole hotel, the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. The facilities are excellent, with huge bedrooms/bathrooms, which are cleaned each day, with a turn down service in the evening. We also used the complimentary spa facilities after a long day wandering around the city & unsurprisingly, they were great. All in all, we would return in a heartbeat. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than some other hotels around the city, but you pay for a what you get!

Excellent stay in an amazing location with lovely staff!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Checked in early evening Sat 1/02/25 by Paula, an absolutely lovely lady who couldn’t do enough for us! Paula took time to explain all the hotels amenities and recommend 4 restaurants to us. Must do’s in the old town and special POI were all highlighted on a map. We visited all 4 restaurants and were very happy with the service and fantastic Spanish food, Paula’s recommendation for the Saturday food market, led to a bulging suitcase full of Spanish delights on the way home! Thank you Paula. Paula absolutely made our stay, thank you so much! Breakfast was a delight with more choices than anybody could wish for, again the staff were brilliant, food was excellent. Cocktail bar was chic and service continued to be excellent. Westin - thank you for an excellent stay, you’re very lucky to have Paula on your staff.

A class act

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We had a problem with our booking when we arrived , our fault, and the receptionist sorted it in an instant. The hotel is perfectly situated, clean, spacious room and good amenities. We used the pool and steam room twice. Exceptionally clean. The breakfast was lovely, good range of food, perfectly cooked. We look forward to returning for the festival of fire in march. We have recommended it to a group of friends who are now joining us.

Missed potential due recurring failures

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

After staying there for over 2 months this year I went back a few days ago to find all the old failures unaddressed over 6 months. It stops there for me. A new restaurant promised to open since beginning 2024 is still not open. The internet is still unusable at the nice courtyard. Something a few simple routers can easily remedy, yet, management clearly does not care. I ordered, as only customers a beer and got a bottle of water. They brought me an internet code and password for a non existing internet address and when I asked waitress the answer was she did not know how to do it( waiter gave me the code). Reception, same answer. And” our technicians are working on it” same answer from 6 months ago. They are. It moving forwards at this hotel but backwards. They were kind enough not to charge for the coke and a beer. It is disappointing. This hotel has so much potential it never realises.
